Make a bold statement about Video Games
Inspired by the movies and music threads of the same type, I figured it was time to bring this old nugget over to VG talk.
Video games are art
aaaand... go!

Final Fantasy IX is one of the top 3 games in the franchise.
The main Nintendo properties have gotten boring, stale, and are just rehashes of previous versions while no longer offering anything innovative.
Controllers are a shitty way to play first person shooters versus a keyboard/mouse on PC

Mine actually has to do with the same thing, but I believe the opposite opinion of yours. Achievements and Trophies have ruined much of the enjoyment of online gaming. I can't stand the achievements like "kill so many opponents with knifes to the back" and you see two dudes standing in the corner knifing themselves like fucking idiots just for an achievement.
