Really wish I hadn't blown my glimmer on the IB Pulse. Even with the right roll, it's mediocre at best. The vanguard pulse when rolled is a much better option.

I pulled a Scott earlier. I was re forging and then realized I had 75 glimmer. Not 7500, not 750.....75.

Enjoying doing IB as an annoying hunter that blinks all over the map. Only problem is that I'm moving around so fast I wind up getting a headache after a few hours.

switched to my Hunter later at night and ran about 2 matches (both losses) and called it quits

was some real stupid stuff going on late at night .... getting shot (sniped) while directly centered behind large rock formations (sorry not even an LDR would get through) ... seeing a sniper real off a 3 person kill in less than a second ... other assorted lagfest BS .... really wish I saved a video of some of it

decided to cut my losses and call it a night ... sorry to Scott and Chase ... it really takes a lot to get me to quit like that but it was an easy decision

I played one more after you left. Just wanted a win to cash in my chips. Another win or two away from lvl 3 and my first Etheric Light.

I'm still struggling using the Thorn in PvP. Prior to this, I was always using a Suros, and got quite comfortable with it.

Do you have a Red Death? I actually prefer using that over the Thorn. I'd say go ahead and use whatever you are comfortable with.

There are people running around all the time with a Thorn that I can take out with a standard pulse because they aren't very good with it, and I'm by no means a top tier PVPer.

Yeah, for some reason I haven't been doing that well with Thorn for this IB too. I've had success with Red Death on more open maps and Sexy Vexy for close quarters.

Even though I started playing again last weekend, I missed picking up Red Death from Xur. I feel that you really need to play aggressive in PvP with a hand cannon to be successful.

I think it depends on the map.

Ice plays a very conservative style typically, especially on a map like Asylum. If you defend a zone, you can farm kills that way by letting the other team come to you. I do that on Shores Of Time and Blind Watch, but usually with a sniper.

When I play aggressive, I tend to use the shotty more.

Did manage to nab my first exotic weapon today from PoE. Got the Truth rocket launcher. I didn't have anything good in that department, so that was nice. I don't think I can use it vs Crota though if I understand correctly, as it's void damage.

you can use the Truth vs Crota
Crota does't have an elemental shield plus Truth is good because it has tracking
