Nope, incorrect. But it really isn't a big deal, you're going to feel how you feel on the situation, is you're right to do so. 1m on the camera is surprisingly high to me, especially considering how long there was a shortage, of course that number is over 2 months old. And you know, nothing seems to support that thing (I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything without it, at least).

Making a joke at an expense of someone else (you must be adhering the strict definition of a practical jokester, obvouisly). I'm so "wrong"

And you believe what you want to believe, but that number is terrible given the number of consoles that have been sold. Obviously it's never going to be supported, similar how Project Morpheus is a joke if that thing is going to be released and actually successful.

Practical Jokes are jokes played on people, not verbally made at the expense of someone.

And why the negative tilt on all that? Morpheus will be great if it's as good as the Rift (which I rather enjoy), will it be successful? Maybe moderately but no need to be negative with it so far in advance (and truthfully I'll probably stick with the Rift). With all the Indie games out there, I wouldn't be surprised for a few to take advantage of the camera, but I also don't see any major games coming out for it. The Kinect on the Xbox 360 sold around 25% and included a game and had $500m in advertising, so 15% with nothing going for it isn't bad in my book.

It's not being negative, just being realistic. Not many people are gonna buy the thing, period. It's going to be very expensive, and console gamers aren't about too expensive.

I think most people felt the camera sales were surprisingly high for the PS4. That's a lot of homemade porn being shared

Calling it a joke is negative.

And yeah, I don't see a lot of people who dished $399 out on a console spending $250 on a headset peripheral device. But then, the number of people that dished out $150 for Kinect surprised me too (I was one of them).

Surprising because they thought no one would buy it, and the ones that did realize it's useless, except for your last sentence.

Re: F off, Aaron Paul!!

The camera sold out until they finally got around to making more of them, right? So sales of the camera were as good as they could possibly be.

Honesty isn't being negative, just being realistic and based on your answer, you know it's going to be a joke. What companies are willing to support the thing? Anyone making Project Morpheus games? This isn't the first time Sony has balked on VR, and probably not the last.

So it's harder to make more cameras than it is ps4s? That's funny if true.

From that statement I'm guessing you've never used any of the other headsets out there either. Nobody really needs to support the thing, it supports itself with pre-existing games and does a great job with it.

Any. Pretty much any game that uses a 3D engine can be mapped to these kinds of headsets, the controls just get remapped to the headset instead of the right joystick. Or some have separate inputs. Either way it's a quick fix for games and nothing has to be specifically engineered for it like they do for motion games.

The same way people play Skyrim and Half-Life 2 on the Rift.

Re: F off, Aaron Paul!!

PS4 camera is in the top 100 for the year on Amazon at #78. Seems like it's doing alright.

I can't imagine how butthurt EA must be about smoke-joke-gate. Bet they go Xbox exclusive.

Re: F off, Aaron Paul!!

I'll believe it when I see it. Sounds like something made natively for it would be a better experience, since none of those games had VR use intended for them.

Why wouldn't they? I can't wait for EA Sports Active 3 w/ Kinect support! The last one was... oh god I can't believe I spent money on that.

Good 3D support imo is the most important part. Being able to walk, aim and move your head at the same time is the only thing some games get confused on (some map it incorrectly and want you to move your head to aim. It needs to be separate).

The CEO of EA called L.A. "Los Angelees". That by itself deserves some ribbing.

So you're saying making jabs at publishers you work with is smart? Great logic there.

Yeah, it's not like anyone ever made a joke about smoke in L.A. That would really piss folks off

You mean the same crap that MS shows in almost every commercial trying to get me to buy their "gaming" console?

Seems like Brack is the kind of guy that will keep telling himself what he wants to believe over and over again until it becomes "reality".

So it's not really a gaming console, considering you felt the need to use parentheses?
