Sorry if this has been brought up but I can't find it anywhere. When your getting beat your 3 bars below you fill. The first is E. The second a lightning bolt and the third I can recall. When they are full you can do a brutality move. What do the letter mean can you do any moves with just one or two boxes full or only all three boxes

On PS4, if you hit R2 when you do a special move, you can do an EX version which is more powerful. The tutorials give good practice at this.

I haven't played a Mortal Kombat game in a decade. Borrowing this from the company library and playing the story mode and i'm shocked at how cheesy and ugly the art style is after finishing Chapter 1. Everyone is so plastic looking, and it's more cut scene then actual fighting. I'm also basically button mashing and have no idea what i'm doing

Finished the story mode today. Despite my complaints earlier, I ended up enjoying it and liked how it let you play each character. Could have used some more hand holding in a lot of the matches to get used to each character, but it was still fun. It's funny, I'm a Street Fighter guy but I really dig the Mortal Kombat lore and story. It's pretty interesting and fun, although I could do without everyone being related or someone's kid in this one.

I liked the "Next Generation" approach to the story mode in this game. And I love the production values of the whole thing. It really felt like the Mortal Kombat movie we should have already got by now.

Why hasn't WB made motion on that? We got Legacy and that was neat but.... I want a goddamn movie now. It was something that looked like it could happen but then nothing did. I can get their fears of a property like this and the failures that could roll down w/ it but... it could be that wild ride that does make them bank.

I still enjoy the original. It's even more hokey now but damnit... it's Enter the Dragon w/ mystical BS in it.

Kevin Tancharoen quit the project two years ago. Supposedly he will release a Legacy III but he wants nothing to do with the movie anymore.

I ended up grabbing the Kollector's Edition today for $50 during the lightning deal. It looks like it comes with the Goro code along with the Kombat Pack. That's all of the DLC, correct?

Nope. Its the 4 extra characters, but there is addition content not included as well. There are a few skins that aren't included.

I'm not too worried about skins. But are they still adding more than just those 4 characters (I guess 5 including Goro)?

Bought the game on BF and ordered the season pass. Season Pass is a ripoff though, should have looked more closely at what is included first. $30 for 4 extra characters and a couple of costume bundles? How the fuck is Goro not included with the season pass? And I don't get all the costume bundles that are released? Eat a dick Warner Bros.

So I'm guessing you won't be buying the second season pass?
