I never liked the art-style of MK games, and this is no different. Just plain ugly, boring, dark, drab and dull.

I haven't played Mortal Kombat since MKII in the local arcades (and Sega Genesis), but I really want this game. I think it looks fantastic. The Conan video is hysterical.

A lot of the appeal is that it's a break from the norm (for me). I don't ever do fighting games so it will be drastically different than what I'm used to playing. I'll probably suck at it, but the gore is so ridiculously over the top I'm pretty sure I'll enjoy it just for that aspect.

I've owned a few MK games over the years but I never got very good at them. This looks fantastic and I'm very tempted to get it.

Chuck is not scared of Jason. I like the idea of Jason but I'm not sure how far he will go as an actual combatant. Will he just hack away with his machete or go bare-handed?

Damn I might have to get this. It looked fun already but adding in Jason and the Predator as playable characters is pretty sweet. I wonder if Freddy will be in too since he was in the last game.

To be accurate they've been added to the $30 Season Pass, not to the base game, right?

They are DLC characters. But I'm sure an eventual Komplete Kollection will include them right off the bat.

It was a lot cooler when you had to beat the game to unlock bonus characters. How things have changed w/ the introduction of the internet with console fighting games.
