I know nobody here still talks about this game but I'm still enjoying the heck out of it. Have over 40 hrs logged so far. Had to start doing more story mission since skill progression and access to the North is locked until I do them. Got to update the homestead-- that was a nice addition.

Encountered a weird glitch with the first Yogi mission : I completed it, saw the final cut scene but the game didn't relize the mission was over and still instructed me to finish the mission ( which was not possible any more) and disabled fast travel as well. I had to abandon and restart the mission to bet it to work. Fortunately that was an easy short mission. If that had happened during the DePlur mission I'd have been super-pissed. That stealth mission took me a long time to finish.

Oh yeah, it looks like there was some more Season Pass content added last week. A couple new missions, several new guns (including the kick-ass Elephant Gun) and the Hurk's Renemption missions that were pre-order bonuses and already available. I hope I didn't pay extra for a pre-order bonus I already had.

I played for a while yesterday too. Spent most of my time in the arena. I'm one level away from unlocking the Bushmaster now. I also did one more story mission and one Yogi mission. Other than that I was just wandering around clearing the map of loot chests, propaganda, and whatnot.

I think they're doing one a month and a really insignificant multiplayer mode came out last week.

I've been playing now for about a week. 15 hours in. I'm 38% in too. I found that the co-op is pretty cool.. We took over two of the fortresses fairly easily.

I'm at over 55 hours now. Closing in on finishing the story. I was procrastinating obviously. I've certainly gotten my money's worth out of it. Might make a run at the Platinum trophy. Looks do-able.

Looks like a fairly easy platinum. I do like how you don't have to get every collectible for it.

I'm down to 4 story missions, 1 tower, 1 outpost, and 1 or 2 of most of the side missions. I should be able to mop everything up next weekend.

Then I'll finally be able to move onto Dying Light.

Yeah, but to unlock every ability I've got to do two outposts without being detected. That one seems difficult. I assume it still counts if you re-do an early one with the Outpost Master option?

Nope, replay via Outpost Master doesn't count. It's best to do that one early on. It's pretty easy with an upgraded recurve bow or silenced sniper rifle. You CAN, however, reset all outposts from a menu option after you've completed the game, but that does reset them all, of course.

Also, there are 4 skills on the elephant side that have 10 levels each, and you have to fully upgrade all of those. I had to do quite a bit of XP grinding even after completing everything else to finish those.

I'm already at maximum Karma level. Spending points on Karma boosts will NOT sit well with me.

I only have a few outposts left to do. Will it count if I do it on a friend's map with him instead?

I gave up on ever taking an outpost undetected pretty early. It's more fun blowing people up with my grenade launcher anyway.

And this is total BS. I also tried to get the "undetected" skill by tackling an outpost via the Outpost Master option... took me 5 tries and THEN I find out it doesn't count towards the achievement. Nice.

I inadvertently saved a lot of that near the end, when I'd already taken all the easier outposts. I thought that'd make it borderline-impossible, but with some of the later weapons in the game, I'd just be at a distance, fire blindly, and take 'em out pretty easily without being spotted. The trick is to not be seen; doesn't matter how much Hell you rain down on 'em. Freeing animals and throwing meat into the outpost can help a ton too.

IMO, the absolute worst part of FC4 were the "supernatural" levels where you either had no or limited weapons and faced an enemy that could disappear and teleport. The only way I get this DLC is if it's NOT that type of supernatural foe and it gets a very good review.
