The not being able to fast forward to the next time your guy is on the ice is the reason why I haven't started Be a Pro.

I actually really don't mind the time on the bench, because it adds to the realism of the game for me. Skipping past that (and any goals that may have happened) would really be jarring. Just my opinion.

Well how long does it last? If it's 30 seconds or so it might not be bad. Does it just depend on whether the coach wants you out there or not?

You could always just turn off line changes for Be A Pro mode.

Yeah but wouldn't that prevent anyone else from coming onto the ice?

About that, sometimes a little longer if you had a long shift. You just press a button whenever you're ready to get back in. Part of the fun is getting the timing right, so you don't leave your teammates high and dry, or mess up a decent scoring chance.

Gotta love when Doc yells "Here come the hats!" after a hat trick and... no hats. Seriously EA? Maybe we'll get some hats in the November update??

Re: NHL 15 - Next-Gen Hockey

So true.

How about "It might be in the game... eventually?"

So in GM mode, is there no actual concept of minor league play? All of my players that are listed as "in the system" just show 0 games played (or whatever games they played in the NHL). So will players not develop unless they are playing on my NHL team?

I hate that, too. Or announce it.

Re: NHL 15 - Next-Gen Hockey

this game frustrates me so much. I have the game on all-star mode. The cpu passing is consistently above 80%. Also, the higher the difficulty, the worse your goalie is. My goalie's save percentage is around .830. I had a game last week where my goalie allowed 4 goals on 7 shots.

Re: NHL 15 - Next-Gen Hockey

I gave up on this game just because I suck so badly at it. Whenever I'm controlling a guy it's like they are drunk (and I swear I'm not!). I never had this issue with the last one I played (I think that was NHL 12).

Re: NHL 15 - Next-Gen Hockey

I play on "pro" difficulty versus the AI and its not bad for my skill level. Still has the typical EA BS if youre playing a weaker team all of a sudden you can't score and everything they shoot goes in. Online I mostly get killed, so there's always that

I just noticed Online Team Play was added in that last update. I enjoy hoping in that from time to time. First game I got stuck on D but managed to be a +2 for game, despite some horrible gaffs
