Character Health Update - Coming 4/17/15
As you may have noticed, many of the characters listed above have received updates to the amount of health they have. They are just the tip of the iceberg! Most characters are going to be receiving a health upgrade. Characters with less health are getting the biggest increase, while characters with a relatively high amount of health aren’t changing at all. Here’s a list of all the characters that are going to be affected.

Lower-health characters trade health for stronger powers, but the health penalty they were paying was too large compared to how much stronger their powers were getting. This update lowers the health penalty they pay.

Iso-8 Leveling Costs Update - Coming in R75

Finally, we’re making some changes in level-up costs for 3-Star and 4-Star characters. In order to help players get their 3-Star and 4-Star characters into a useful state more quickly, we’re making it cheaper to level them up at lower levels. We don’t have final numbers at the moment, so stay tuned.

This change will not change the levels of any existing characters, but they will immediately become cheaper to level up.


TLR - Invisible Woman, Elektra, Wolverine X-Force, Beast, Doctor Octopus, She-Hulk and Health updates coming 4/17/15. Iso-8 Leveling costs update coming in R75.


As part of these changes, we’ll be offering increased sell prices on the 6 characters listed above. Invisible Woman, Elektra and Wolverine X-Force will have double the normal Hero Point increased sell prices.

Other characters with increased sell prices (Iron Fist, Magneto (Marvel NOW!), Mystique, Thor (Goddess of Thunder), Ragnarok) will be returned to their normal sell price when these changes take effect.

Woah they actually nerfed xforce? Time to go to the forums to see the outrage first hand.

I am now kinda glad I never maxed my xforce because of pve concerns. Though even with tacos I've been losing interest fast (part of this is that bloodborne is the first next generation title to really hold my interest) This many changes coupled with a bunch of new characters in the past few months may mean that my mini break gets extended. Plus more hp means longer matches too. Funny how these f2p mobile games end up being more of a time sink than console games.

The xforce nerf bat was strong. I am pretty sure they want yellow to be the new green. I'll also say that she-hulk is going to be a royal PITA to play against now. I am thinking that a good troll team in simulator will be she-hulk, IW and professor X.

I finally got my fifth 3* Captain America red so I've given him a respec to 3/5/5 and he is perfect, a truly monstrous tank now if you can get him going which is tougher now due to the change to boosts. I snagged my first 4* Professor X cover from a Heroic Token and won my third Kamala and got my 12th Sentry cover today 5/4/3. I should be really happy but all these changes they are making are for the worse and I think they may be working their way towards total destruction of the game. Kinda bummed. The forums are absolutely on fire with butthurt.

Pulled a black KingPin from Prodigal Sun Token. That event will turn out well for me with a Loki, KP and eventual Quicksilver cover.
PVP is really off this season, Some events are just brutal that I struggle to even reach 300 pts, I've basically just done PVE this time. I won't get the 10 pack this season. Oh well.
Giving some characters more health doesn't really help this game. ALso, why didn't Hood get a health increase?

The developers are shooting for more balance AFAIK. Giving Hood or Loki more health would make them dominate as the name of the game is AP. If you ever face a team with OBW, Hood or Loki, you take them out first every time for a reason. I'm as bummed about the xforce nerf as anyone, but I do think that more balance is better for the overall health of the game. They just hit him a little too hard IMO. There are rumblings of new game modes in the works along with lower ISO cost to level up and DDQ has been great so I am cautiously optimistic.

Thinking of selling my maxed Magneto MN 2* for 34k ISO and 550 HP. Mainly, I don't use him that often and 2* covers are relatively easy to accumlate. Am I crazy?

Thanks for the reminder. Just sold mine. If they hadn't nerfed his purple, I probably would've kept him, even though the only use he's gotten in months is for the daily Deadpool 2* nodes. Used the ISO from the sale to max Human Torch, taking my roster to 14 maxed 3*s.

My next real decision with the game is going to be whether to sell Xforce when they offer the bonus. I sunk 5000 HP and ~430k ISO into him, but with the current changes, he's pushing enemies in PVP and PVE to ridiculous levels. If I trash him, I'll just concentrate on continuing to round out my 3* roster, which keeps the game fairly fun.

I sold mine day one. I have sold about 6 level 22 MNMaggs since the increased price as well. A level 22 is worth 100 HP and costs a net hundred or so ISO.

Damn! Wish I would have thought of that. I'm sure I've sold tons of covers I've gotten for him lately. Doh!

I saw you or someone else post that earlier in the thread, but it didn't work for me. I had a second one and leveled him up to ~30, but it was still only offering me ISO to sell him back. I didn't want to sink more ISO into him in the hopes it would eventually offer me HP, so I just cut my losses and sold him. I checked at the time and it was within the bonus window. Maybe they'll only offer you HP for the top one currently in your roster? Not sure what else would've caused the problem.

I sold another mags for 100hp today, up to 1350 total I think. Sold my maxed one day one, don't regret a thing.

Picked up my 3* Bagsilver, his powers are sub-Beast level atrocious. Also snagged my Loki progression, first green for him, 4/5/1. Loki is one of the best designed characters in the game.



I decided to start clean and opened my 19? taco tokens since my missing ones got reinstated.

3* Human Torch red 5/2/4 need 99,403 iso to level to 140
3* Falcon purple 4/4/5 13th cover! need 124,614 iso to level to 166
3* Sentry green 5/5/3 13th cover need 87,347 to level to 166
3* Captain America red 0/1/0, my main lazy cap is a perfect 3/5/5 and my main go to guy. started another for now, why not?

Sometime in this 5 day cycle I will get my 13th Patch as well, he will 5/3/5 exactly how I want him, so that's another 85k or so iso I need.

It also does them no good if the top players don't have an incentive to spend once the overpowered characters are maxed. Although you'd have to be either rich or dumb or both to spend money on covers at this point.

Sold my max Mags based on your posts. I actually use him still but I figure I can slowly work him back later and I have enough other characters to use for things like Deadpool in the meantime.

Wow, got 1000 HP from a taco token. Tempted to buy a cover with it.

I wouldn't buy anything for a little while. Been some buzz about new content coming and with the changes to how characters are leveled coming I'm just stockpiling everything with the exception of the HP I had to spend to open a roster slot for Bagsilver.

I think this is wise. At the very least, wait a week to make any decisions to invest in anyone as the ISO costs are supposed to drop and many characters are getting HP bumps with the next update.

Yeah, I was probably going to wait anyway. I have about 4000 HP now after the token, selling Magneto, and buying some HP during the last sale (thanks Google Surveys for the free money!) and just not sure what to do with it now.

I'm not hardcore enough in this game to care that much about all the changes though for most of those to really affect my play.

I'll have to sell my maxed 2* Mags. i sold 2 or 3 level 22 versions so far but I can always build another one and would rather have the HP and ISO now.
I'll have to push hard on this Thor PvP so i can get my first Gamora cover. I hate not having covers that are required for DPD

I'm going to write down current covers, level and iso needed to max them and see how the changes go exactly. Curious to see how that patch goes. I really don't think anybody should level anything up for awhile.

3* Human Torch green 5/2/5 12th cover. I'd always wanted to take him to 5/3/5 so going pretty good. I don't like strike tiles because they match away too quickly most of the time and I despise powers that drain other colors of AP.

You may notice that some of your toons are more useful with the HP bump. Human Torch and Storm are going to be much more attractive as will GSBW.

The trouble with the hp bump is two-fold. First it's a backdoor nerf to several characters, mainly 2* Storm and Hood because they got no buff and are now even more squishy because of the second problem - enemies have more hp now too and there was no damage increase so everything just got slower, harder and grindier.

Got my 13th Patch today from DDQ! 5/3/5 just how I wanted him and snagged a DareDEvil blue from a Rocket and Groot token, 5/2/2. Really high on DD right now because of the show, was hoping to commemorate that D3 might work his powers a little but no such luck yet.

If you mean the 3* versions of them, I don't have them high enough to be useful anyway.
