They are all the same. The enemies just level up with you.

See, look how amazing the AI is!

To be fair, the JTF Allies AI is noticeably stupider compared to the enemies. They probably didn't want them to contribute too much, but perhaps it would of been a better idea just to turn down their damage.

Thanks. I guess that makes sense. I was wondering how people would be Lvl 30 in that first section.

What's the best way to acquire weapons/gear around level 11/12? Vendor? Quests? Crafting?

I think everything I'm using is from a quest/event reward, but the vendor at my base has an assault rifle with better DPS and I'm wondering if I should buy or just keep relying on drops.

I pretty much use an equal combination of drops/rewards and crafted stuff. One thing to note, if you do every mission/side mission in an area (everything but collectibles) it unlocks a recipe for usually a pretty good piece of gear.

Re: The Division -- Xbox One/PS4 -- March 8th, 2016

This has been the best coop game in a long time.

Enemy AI is beyond stupid. Jokes have been made in this thread, but my god it is bad. It is also easy to manipulate the aggressive flanking and attacks...but you have to wonder wtf...I could almost deal with the stupid AI but I HATE suicidal enemies. Who charges 4 people with guns behind cover with a bat? Who charges towards a supply crate with a bomb past 10 enemies? Even with the bad AI the game is fantastic. Combat can be amazing. Headshots and enemy fire tank explosions never get old. The leveling up system is fun. Our group can't wait till we get to 30 so we can run the hard mode.

Dark zone is broken when playing by yourself but fun in a group. It is a troll's paradise, but when grouped up it is a rush extracting gear. And the gear is amazing. Best gear in the game comes from Dark Zone. If you are around level 10 it is time to jump in there and upgrade your loot big time. In about an hour you can see huge improvements.

Re: The Division -- Xbox One/PS4 -- March 8th, 2016

I just hit level 11 and found myself near the dark zone entrance after doing a mission last night. It was...interesting.

Got in there and killed a few mobs no problem, and picked up some green and blue drops for my trouble. It took a while but I figured out how the extraction thing works (I thought you called it in on your own from anywhere, and didn't have to go to one specific spot), and managed to get my loot out no problem. There were at least five other guys there extracting their stuff, nobody went rogue, and that was the end of that.

So I decided to press my luck and go farm for more stuff. Kill mobs. Greens and blues. Go to extract again, except I'm the only one there this time. I don't feel like waiting around so I call for extraction. Turns out doing that when you're clearly in there solo and the only person in the area kind of makes you a pretty easy target. I was killed by a group of two pretty quickly.

I respawned and went back in, because at this point I was all about learning about the systems in there rather than seriously farming or making any meaningful progress. And who do I see standing right outside the DZ entrance? Same two who killed me just a couple minutes before. Didn't even have time to turn around before they lit me up.

All in all, I see the appeal and am looking forward to exploring in there some more. I'm not even really sure what loot I picked up and managed to extract, so I'll have to check on that later today. Definitely need to level up a bit and change up abilities before I do that again.

I jumped ahead of my co-op buddy the past few days. I was helping him do lvl 20-ish missions when I'm 26. I would just run in, take all the shots and destroy everyone.

Did they change this or something? Last I checked it automatically scales the enemies UP to whatever the highest player level is. Makes helping people lower level basically impossible. Really stupid, they should make players scale DOWN to the lowest level instead.

If your geared enough... you can carry the lower level player. Just wont happen in a 4 man group.

Its basically you solo'n the stuff for your friend. He will get full experience, from completing the quests.

I ran some games with my friend yesterday (he was level 30, I was 21) and he took me from 21 to 26 in in a couple of runs.

No idea, but I was fighting 20's and 21's while I was rolling around as 25 and 26. He was 20 and getting waxed, while I was just clearing enemies like no tomorrow.

Fuck that level 22 rooftop mission. I gave up after several solo tries on the last part.

Once you slackers hit level 30, your loot cave awaits:

http://www.vg247.com/2016/03/18/the-...oenix-credits/

You get on average 1-3 Phoenix credits and two purples every minute. I used them to craft a high end magazine and Vector. I'm up somewhere around 110/70/10.

This will be gone tomorrow due to the patch being released. Stock up on coins while you can!

Easily the best game so far this year. Going through the missions again on hard really is amazing..and the loot hook is real.

A great, in-depth review, focusing on the game's ugly implications.

That was a great run when you joined me and my buddies. The dark zone is a really fun experience. I hope they don't patch the farming exploit before I can use it.

Game is pretty good - graphics are incredible (even though they crap out sometimes) love the overall ambience the game has and this is definitely a good start.

Amen!!!...we got our first taste of it last night but right away everything went wrong. We ran into a group of four AI around a corner and started shooting. The problem was some "Good Guys" were on the other side and got hit. So it was 2 vs 6 right away....and it didn't go good at all.

After that it went great. Not another "Good Guy" accident. In fact every group we came in contact worked together watching each others back. I had the Health Box that healed and supplied ammo and kept throwing it out every chance I got. Even one of the other players sent a thanks message for the support. But I feel my stuff is under power even at Level 17 with a Blue M4 (Level 14) dishing out 1030 damage.

Which we're puzzled on how the weapon damage moves up when your character does. I got this Blue M4 at level 4 and at the time the damage was around 784. How is it up to 1030? I was going to buy a newer gun and looked at the damage and it was almost identical between a Blue Lev 14 and a Blue Lev 17. We really don't understand he leveling part with the weapons when it doesn't do the same with the gear.....but I'm hooked on the DZ; can't wait to go back but be great if we had four. We got up to Level 11 and 12 last night.

Make sure you compare base damage. You might be comparing your gun after mods with a new gun that has no mods attached.

Re: The Division -- Xbox One/PS4 -- March 8th, 2016

Yea...I thought about that and I'll strip it down and then compare. But still the damage has increased as we have leveled up and not changed any mods out. I'm to the point where I'm almost selling everything especially weapons and keeping a few on hand and also to buy better gear. I broke down and bought a Purple Backpack due to the stats and I had a green one that was one level below

Anyone with the PC version that wants to team up for some DZ farming... send me a friends invite Csant1023.

I love this game...
