From what I know you can do single, co-op (up to four) and then MP. I played co-op in the beta and an additional player(s) make a difference and more fun. I think the part that appeals to me is the survival, loot, trade, collect part...essentially the commerce side is more in depth than Destiny. You just don't take care of yourself as you have to worry about the base of operations as well.

I did do my pre-order at Best Buy and one of the salespeople even said they might have the Gold Editions on hand come Tuesday so there might be a chance to trade up. If not no big deal and I'll just do the season pass thru the PS Store. And those on PS4 can add me if they want and I'll probably be looking for friends to play with also.

You don't want to do that -- you'll lost the second-to-last-ever $10 Reward Certificate preorder bonus if you swap it out. You'll be much better off buying the Season Pass on PSN -- especially if you get a 10% off code or promotion. Even if not, by not getting the Gold Edition from Best Buy with GCU you miss out on the 20% discount, but you'd pay sales tax on the $40 extra cost so your savings with the Gold Edition are negligible.

Are they not going to be offering the bonus anymore?

Good point....I'll just keep the normal and grab the season pass thru PS Store. Still shocked that BB and probably others didn't see that the Gold Edition would have a higher demand but no lose on me.

just looked at their list. Battleborn, Dark Souls 3 and Division seem to be the only games that still have the pre-order bonus. Seems like it is being phased out, but who knows.

It looks like Dark Souls 3 was recently added. I was hoping to see Uncharted 4 on there, but no dice yet.

Didn't know about Dark Souls 3. Prior to that the last title added was Halo 5 and that was like seven months ago. I was pretty sure it was done with Battleborn, but maybe not yet.

You can forget about Uncharted 4. Even in the "Good Old Days" there were never any Sony (or Nintendo) published titles included. I don't think there were ever a PS3 or PS4 exclusive even published by a third party studio.

I'm planning on ordering the digial preorder today. It would be my first digital preorder. Can anyone tell me if it will be available at midnight my time (EST) or are all digital preorders released at midnight (PST)?

Also does it start downloading at the schedule release time or does it begin the download beforehand so it's ready to run at that time?

Re: The Division -- Xbox One/PS4 -- March 8th, 2016

Yep...I've done Far Cry 4 and Destiny digital pre-order and you're good to go "around midnight"...based on where the actual servers are and your location. I think with Destiny it was released West Coast midnight and I didn't get it till 1am. But it does a pre-load and it's almost instant that you're up and running. I like it...and if I didn't have the BB Gamer Club and a $27 gift card I would've done it with The Division.

Thanks buddy. We haven't played together in forever. Hopefully we can get together and do so again here.

The Division Update 1.01 Detailed, Ubisoft Teases Brooklyn News After Launch

Depending on your platform and region, the digital download size for The Division will be between 26.9GB and 34.4GB. As detailed previously, the servers won’t go live until Monday, March 7, at 5am PT/8am ET.

In a Q&A with GameSpot about their post-launch plans, Creative Director Magnus Jansen was asked if the missing Brooklyn location would be added as DLC. “There are some things that people will have to wait for until launch,” he replied.

Then, when asked if the Survival expansion would include a Gears of War-style Horde mode, Jansen said, “I really don’t want to give anything away about Survival, but I can safely answer “no” to this one without spoiling too much.”

not really what I wanted to see but still curious as to just what this Survival Mode will be....Check the link to see all the updates and changes which actually include a lot of visual stuff which I cannot see why...

Was that on the official Best Buy page yesterday? Checked it their site this morning and the promo isn't linked with Dark Souls 3 on the product page or promotion page. If it was there yesterday, hopefully it just went live early and wasn't an outright error.

oh, i screwed up. i was looking at the listings and saw $10, but it's $10 off a game guide, not the pre-order credit. my mistake.

Ah, well then, I would say it's officially dead if they haven't added anything this year.

So I was right after all. This and Battleborn is it.

Preorder is live again for the Gold Edition at Best Buy. Probably your last time to grab it with the $10 reward zone cert. Still only shipping though, no store pick up.

Re: The Division -- Xbox One/PS4 -- March 8th, 2016

I went ahead and pre-ordered this for the extra 10 bucks. I have no interest in Battleborn. Now, whether I keep this or not depends on what I hear about it between now and picking it up in-store.

Re: The Division -- Xbox One/PS4 -- March 8th, 2016

Yep...or at least for now. Might change come closer to release. But I'm not surprised since you're getting 20% off and they keep can't keep throwing in $10 cert points in every new release.

Re: The Division -- Xbox One/PS4 -- March 8th, 2016

Well, they have to do something to sway people back since Amazon is now offering 20% off to Prime members. With Prime's discount I can get a game for a flat 48 bucks compared to 52.08 (after tax and a trip to Best Buy.) So, in the long run, it might be more beneficial for me to just order games from Amazon and wait for them to be delivered than running to Best Buy, wasting gas, time and a few extra bucks.

Re: The Division -- Xbox One/PS4 -- March 8th, 2016

I'm sticking to my guns and renting it through the library first. I'll run through the single player stuff, and if I'm enjoying it and the multiplayer is still going strong, I'll pick it up once it's on sale. It's a Ubisoft game, so it should be $20 by summer :).

Not necessarily, but we'll see. On the official Best Buy forum for GCU, the rep has been claiming that they expect new titles to be added, but can't share any details yet. That's been the line since the start of the year, but they did just post it again last week, so I guess time will tell.

You don't pay sales tax at Amazon yet? That's what killed them for me. I rarely buy stuff from them any more. I'd rather get it at Best Buy, earn measly RZ points and keep up my Elite status with them now.

So, no day-early reviews of this game, huh? Gotta wait until tonight, I guess.

If we were to pay sales tax then Oklahoma would find some way to spend it without actually doing something positive with it. We are in the 7th consecutive year of having budget cuts in education and we have already had two since the beginning of 2016.

Also, the sales tax here is like 8.5%. One of the highest in the country.

Yeah once Amazon got taxed here, I shopped there less. More about stuff I didn't need immediately that had cheaper prices. BB is all about instant gratification now.
