I've been pleasantly surprised by the amount of positive word of mouth coming out of the beta. I'm pretty sure I'll pick this up for PS4 at launch.

This is probably my biggest complaint.

There is way too much on the screen at one time, and you barely have time to read any of it, before something else appears on it.

I don't know how it was for anyone else, but the Dark Zone pvp was pretty boring/confusing. I saw one other enemy player during the 20 minutes of playing it. Most of the people I saw in pvp were neutral.

I played a little more today and just cancelled my preorder. Not a fan of the controls.

I didn't play the beta but a friend of mine did who has been looking forward to this game since it was announced . She told me she was not doing the pre-order but didn't have time to get into the details. If she is not doing the pre-order and going to wait on some reviews and feedback after waiting this long there must have been some red flags. She is by the way big into Destiny, Borderlands, Dying Light, Diablo, Bloodborne and did a lot with Halo & Gears.

^^ I'd be interested to know why. So please post back. I have the Gold edition on pre-order but didn't get a chance to try out the beta. I love these types of games, so I'm keeping mine regardless.

I don't know if I'd call it sloppy, but it was definitely loose. I liked it that way, felt like it was more versatile, instead of locking you down to the cover.

Just a heads up, the latest Humble Bundle has a $75 Division preorder option. You get the game on Uplay for Windows, a Division t-shirt, and a bunch of Ubisoft games.

In the days of day 1 patches and DLC, going Gold doesn't mean anywhere near what it meant in the past.

Beyond that, Beta doesn't really mean what it did in the past either. I mean they're probably going to be looking at server side issues that might pop up and stuff like that. See how the system works with more users playing. But for the most part this "beta" is a preview more than a test.

That being said, if you didn't play the closed beta, or deleted it, you can now pre-load the open beta. Since it's a 26 gig download on PS4, getting it out of the way before friday is a really good idea.

I'm giving it a whirl, Daggers Of The Division perhaps?

I started my download of the beta on xbox one last night. I'll be lucky if i end up having time this weekend to try out the game. hopefully friday night
