Me and my co-op friend were talking about going back into the Dark Zone but is two good enough to handle possible Rouge Groups who basically hang out at Drop Zones then back-stab you like they did the last time? I know lately when I pull up the map I hardly see any friends in the Dark Zone like I did several weeks back. In fact there's been several times I haven't seen any in there at night playing.

Well I got my main dps up to 185,000 my health is at 70,000 and my power is at 30,000...My armor is high as it my elite damage reduction. Our group can run most challenging missions without anyone going down and under 15 minutes.
As for the dark zone... maybe I am doing something wrong because we did spend about 2 hours in it and I did get 2 yellows and a bunch of purples and none of them were upgrades over the yellows I got from the challenging missions. I can get about 7 or 8 yellow items an hour in the main game vs the 2 I got over 2 hours in the dark zone. We spent most of our time in the higher area of the dark zone.
As for skills our team has two people with Smart Cover with the Recharger mod. We make sure one is always up. It is about 45-50% damage reduction for the team and 35-40% damage boost. It is always up for each encounter. We also make sure we always have one support station with immunizer down to counter grenade spam. With this setup we just walk through challenging.

I finished the story missions this past weekend and here is my take:
This genre of online games is sucking the fun out of gaming for the more casual gamers out there. Why? Because since we're not leveled up enough, we're weak sauce when it comes to playing with friends who are leveled up.
Yes, I do like how I can basically cheat and don't even need to take part to level up but that's my point....dumb shooters like COD at least kept the playing field level. I seriously don't have time to become a level 30 3 days after a game has been released.
I could have easily played through myself but that's not the point of these types of games.
For the Division itself, yeah, needs more enemy variety and bit more to do overall - having a vehicle would be nice too.
It's a great game, just needs to be refined.
But like destiny - I' wearing thin on the effort required just to have fun with friends online - it does make for some funny moments though as since we're not all on the same level - a few of us hang back while the others do all the work - we just mock them from another room safe out of harms way
Also, I may have had no problem with not being as strong as my counter parts as once I hit the same level as them I would have been good to go but nope...to keep the game going developers let you keep leveling up indefinitely.

No. I think my dps was 85,000 and health about 50-60 when I first completed a challenge mission, and it was hard as hell. One thing I recommend that does not show up in stats is get your armor to as close to 50% damage reduction as possible and stack elite damage reduction (which stacks with armor) I think armor caps at 65%, but honestly at this point 50 is enough if you also have about 10% elite damage reduction.
Of course this could all change tomorrow when the patch hits...

I'm around there and am at level 43. I ran into a guy yesterday when running solo in the DZ and he asked me to join his group and I extracted about 6 times with 9-9 high end gold items each time. Was a great run.

One item away from a full green set. The Incursion Falcon Lost was a lot of fun. I hope future updates are as well made. My dps is over 240,000 on my main gun...and my toughness is insane right now. The hardest part really is as my hitpoints get close to 100,000 healing skills don't help as much. I am stuck with about 30,000 skill power and I feel I need to get that up to about 50,000.
Challenging mode actually feels easy now, so I hope they up the difficulty on future challenging modes.

Did you get all green gear from Incursions? I v been doing it the hard way via DZ and blueprints...I started with NOMAD but I think I want the assault set for that crit damage. Funny though, both greens have brought my stats down (maybe still better?)
Weird though- in DZ...every time I increase my health (I go between 60000 - 90000) the DZ villains seem to give more damage.

I got greens from falcon lost, but only one was from the set I was going for. I crafted my next two pieces from the blueprints. I went into the darkzone and got some more green items but none of them the sentry set I was trying to get. We did Falcon Lost again tonight and finally I got my last piece so I am rocking a 4 piece sentry set. Marking enemies with head shots and giving the entire team 45% bonus damage to those enemies is amazing.

So I just started tooling around with this game and am at Level 6 as of yesterday. I have a question though... some of the missions seem damn hard. I am now able to "match-make" and the mission where you have to take over a crane (at the construction yard) was almost impossible. Luckily I had a guy stick it out with me and after about 15 attempts (not joking) we found a way to finish the mission.
Now on to my question -- would I have faced fewer enemies or weaker enemies had I gone on to tackle that mission alone or do you need multiple teammates in order to progress in the game? We barely struggled thru and I couldn't help but think that more help would have made it that much easier... but perhaps there would have just been more enemies and it would have been difficult anyways.

In my experience, it's better to either have 3-4 people go into a mission or go solo. Every time I played a mission and it was me and one other person, we get wrecked. I'm not sure if it's more enemies or the same enemies with a bigger life bar, but it does change with the more people that go in. Also keep an eye on the level suggestion for the mission. I tried playing one the other day where I was one level short and kept dying. Tried it again once I leveled up and blew right through it.

It's just more enemies. I got sick of flying solo so I would just press X to match make when I got to a mission start zone - I usually get one person to join and it just takes forever to kill all the enemies.

I was level 5 when I started and was facing level 7 bastards with flame throwers. I think we died, collectively, 40+ times throughout that mission. Must have spent an hour on it... and it was awesome!

You do have the option of joining people who are ranked much higher than you - all you have to do is hang back somewhere safe (because one shot will kill you) - once it's all over, you will shoot up like 5-6 ranks instantly - you will miss out on all the fun though.

Re: The Division -- Xbox One/PS4 -- March 8th, 2016
Yep, I left a match because of that. I was easily the lowest ranked by like two or three levels and it wasn't fun hanging back and watching others play.
I made it to level 16 last night, so I can finally play the next campaign mission tonight.

I am at about 150 hours now. I am still having fun because I am helping my friends gear up, but if not for that I would not be playing. There really is nothing to do late game. Also, we have a lot more luck gearing up outside the dark zone. We spent 4 hours in the dark zone last night and got one green item no one wanted and a bunch of yellows we turned to mats. We left and did the Lincoln tunnel on challenging and got two greens for the group. Once your gear score is 180-200 and you know what to do, Falcon lost is not that bad and you will get 4 greens for the group to share each time.
I just wish they would allow every mission to be done on challenging so there was something new to do.

I haven't played the game in a while. I enjoyed getting up to level 30. I thought the missions were fun, and I liked exploring the map and getting every collectible.
At first, I also liked the dark zone. Now, I just don't feel it calling to me. The end game doesn't seem well thought out.

What determines which items are free for anyone to take vs. only for you in the dark zone? I'm talking about after you die and you drop items.
