Was the price mentioned in that post?

So with Golf and Peggle Microsoft wins the Arcade/indie war, right? right?

Fuck.

I'm an Xbox One owner. So....what's the best headset for this that's doesn't look like I'm wearing earmuffs? Does anyone make a one ear one like MS did last generation?

I saw that. But a wireless one. I can only seem to find the gigantic ones.

I thought it came with a Play and Charge kit too. Craaaap.

Since I hooked my Dish box up to the Xbox does it have to remain on at all times? Same with the Kinect? Those lights are a bit annoying.

It does have to remain on. The lights don't bother me, but I expressed concern over the box getting warm when it's been on awhile. My son may watch cartoons/Sesame Street for an hour in the morning, followed by me watching a movie or a show during lunch, and then playing a game or listening to music.

On average, my TV is probably on a good 10 hours a day or more, whether it's me or someone else watching it.

I guess it can't be as bad as a DVR it just seems weird to have it remain on at all times.

Plus when Is ay Xbox One it goes to the Xbox dash and not the TV. Might confuse my wife.

http://xboxfeedback.com/

Features user suggestions for improvements to the console. Created by one of the IGN guys, and Major Nelson has confirmed that the Xbox team is reviewing it.

If they implemented everything in that list, they would easily have the best console ever. Hopefully they tackle some of the more importants ones first like friend notifications and the entire friends/party/achievement situation. I feel so disconnected from friends on this console...it feels like a completely offline system with how poorly it's all designed.

I just really need 3D BD Support so I can sell off my Oppo (paying for my Xbox One). Oppo is great, but when I only watch 2-4 movies a month it's no longer needed.

Is there a video tutorial anywhere going over features and how to properly set everything up? This seems like it would take a few hours to get everything working properly.

Great!

Although one of the suggestions is:

6. A clock on the home screen would be useful

At least in my home screen, there's a clock in the right bottom of the screen.

So yeah, they made a lot of changes, or started from scratch, that there things there that people think that are missing. So that website would be more useful if they really check all the suggestions.

I'd definitely love auto-signin without Kinect. I don't think my Xbox One has ever recognized me, even though every time I go through the whole routine and it says it'll do a better job next time. It's a pain having to enter my password every time. The almost completely static green screen is pretty baffling. Not sure why anyone thought that was a winning idea.

Man, parties/party chat is BROKEN.

Tried starting a party last night. Got my friend into the party, but voice chat refused to work. Then it literally became a 30 minute process to figure out how to play a multiplayer race in Forza 5, which eventually started, and my buddy raced around the track at what appeared to be 1 frame per second while my car never acknowledged any controls whatsoever.

Me and the few I play with have to use Skype on the X1 as a work around for Party chat.

I really don't understand MS. They went into this generation pretty universally recognized as having a major advantage in Live. PS was supposed to be playing catch up. How did they fuck up so bad on things that they had perfect last generation, such as party chat?

Microsoft, Stability and x86 don't mix?

Well no, that's not true, the original Xbox was pretty stable. Got me beat. Give em time, they'll get it ironed out - you have to remember all their last minute dev time shifted from polish to changing DRM.

I haven't tried it : Does Party Chat not work at all now?

Also, while some of those things will require major tweaks to get resolved, the lack of auto-sign in without Kinect is super-irritating to me. It's one of those things they did intentionally just to show off some sort of Kinect functionality.

What password?

Do you mean you have autologin with Kinect enabled and it doesn't works, and it asks for your Windows Live password every time?

I never did the proper Kinect setup and have no issues. When I don't turn on the system using my voice, I use a Harmony remote, I just wave at the camera and it logs me in.

It works about as well as it worked on the PS3...
