I order a certified refurbished 500GB black matte Xbox One from Amazon yesterday. Since my 360 is not working very well (disc drive sometime won't open). Real glad that Lost Odyssey is on the list of backward compatibility it one my favorite of 360 games I enjoyed. I be getting Skyrim after seeing some of awesome mods my brother show me on his Xbox One console. Also getting Gears of War 4 and Halo the Master Chief collection. Are there any good Xbox One games I should be looking?

I just want to see what exclusives they have to announce. I have no interest in dumping money for a new version of a system if the exclusives aren't there. I think it's all but guaranteed there will be some sort of teasers for Halo 6 and Forza 7.

Forza 7 is a given.
Halo 6? Maybe. Boy, Halo 5 was such a disappointment. I don't even know if I want to go back.

Fable Online
Studio Fobo is working on a Fable Game. Its basically a ressurection of the Fable Legends Project.
However they will make drastical changes, no moba game this time, more of an Online RPG inspired by Destiny.
You can go on mission with friends, meet in towns where you can eqcuip and sell your weapons. Looks and sounds promising and
is Microsoft Chance to revive this Franchise.
What i was told is basically that if Fable Online (i don't know the final name) does well, Microsoft will greenlight a full fledged mainline Fable 4 Game.
Release 2018
Capcom Vancouver
New Ip - Knight of the Aegis (fully funded by Microsoft)
so this deal is a bit complicated.
Micorosft made a 3 Games Contract/Deal with Capcom in 2011/12.
Game Nr.1 was Dead Rising (Dead Rising 4 got greenlighted after its sucess & therefore is not Game Nr.2 or planned in 2012)
Game Nr.2 was Monster Hunter (this deal doesn't mean the next MH is exclusive on XBox, but Harrisson wanted a guarantee that the popular Franchise from Japan also makes its way to
Xbox - that means, MH5 will be announced at E3 at Sonys Stage and will release on Ps4,Xbox One and PC. This Deal was made at a time, when Microsoft still wanted to get a ground
on the japanese market - today they wouldn't make this deal again.
Game nr.3 and now comes the interesting part was made for an exclusive Dino Crisis Game fully funded by Microsoft, however Capcom Vancouver didn't want to make that game & the other
Capcom Studios were busy with other Projects.
The Plan got ditched and instead they agreed to work on a new ip (which will replace Game Nr.3 for Microsoft)
The new Ip by Capcom Vancouver is called Knight of Aegis
(1974, New York City. You are recruited into the Order of Aegis, an elite brotherhood of Mystic Knights sworn to protect and keep the peace between the mortal and supernatural realms.
When a powerful evil stirs in the darkness, you must master the ancient powers of the past in order to save humanity's future.

In a post on reddit, 343 community manager Brian Jarrard (aka sk7ch343) tempered fans' expectations for this year's expo, saying that while the studio will have something at E3, it won't be tied to Halo 6.
"I'll slip into my Dreamcrusher persona for a minute in the name of realistic expectations: We've said this already but we'll have a little something at E3 but it's not related to the next major entry in the franchise," Jarrard said.

I guess they could be doing remasters of Halo 3, 4, and Reach? But besides Reach, the others were already released on XB1 (the 360 versions).
Since it worked out so well with Rise of the Tomb Raider

They shot down a Halo 3 Anniversary release. Halo 3, 4, and ODST haven't been remastered (this far anyway), but the MCC does let you play 'em in native 1080p (and 4 had HD textures already, IIRC). You can play Reach via BC, but it's not in 1080p like the MCC entries are.

I know no one knows at this point, but if you had to guess, what price to you see the new XBOX One (Scorpio) coming in at? I already have a launch day Xbox One, but I would really like to upgrade if it comes in under $500.

$499 is my guess... and I'm in day 1. If it's more than that, I'll have to think about it and might wait based on principle.

I'd normally be there day one for something like the Scorpio, but the release schedule seems kind of barren as of late. Literally the most anticipated title of 2017 for me on the One is now Cuphead.

Less would be nice, but $499 is what I'm assuming too.
As far as first party goes, I guess it depends on what surprises await at E3. Could Crackdown 3 wind up being a late '17 release? I'm also hoping for 4K patches for some recent games (particularly Forza Horizon 3!). Part of me wants to get the inevitable FM7, but my wife is more the racer of the two of us, and she's more of a Horizon fan...and has barely touched 3 after becoming obsessed with Overwatch, so it'll probably seem like a whole new game to her once November rolls around.
I absolutely can see the Scorpio unseating the PS4 as my go-to console for third party games, regardless.

Oops, yeah, you're right.
It'd be neat to see Ori and the Will of the Wisps, if those rumors hold up. I loved, loved, loved Ori and the Blind Forest.

I'm hoping it ends up being $449 or less, especially after knowing that $499 was a mistake when the original Xbox One launched and because the PS4 Pro was able to launch at $399.
I'm likely going to buy one regardless because I really want a UHD player, but really hoping for some surprises at E3. Non-Horizon Forza or Crackdown don't do much for me.

Now, they're selling the Xbox One S for $249, so there's a cheaper option if someone just wants an XB1. And the Scorpio by all accounts is significantly more powerful than the PS4 Pro.
Gamers that want better performance are willing to pay for it; just look at how expensive some gaming PCs can get. The Scorpio is intended to grab that market, not replace the XB1S.

I can't see any one pricing a console at $599 these days.

re: Xbox One: S $249 Now / X $499 November 7 2017
$499 was a mistake because they didn't have a cheaper option, it included the Kinect which many people didn't want, and blamed for the higher price (whch MS later confirmed by removing the Kinect and dropping the price $100) and it didn't perform as well as the PS4.

I know Scorpio isn't here to win the generation or anything and is being pitched a premium product, but I also don't think Microsoft will want to price Scorpio so that only Xbox fans will buy it, which is what I think would happen at $499 unless they pack in a game or something with it. As a PC gamer primarily myself, I also think console gamers are far more sensitive to cost. That said, I also wouldn't be surprised if it does end up being $499 either. Like I said, "hoping" it's less
