Played CRIMSON DRAGON when it was released and got stuck on a boss... never went back to it. It was boring, my brother should have never bought it... should take out my SATURN and play PANZER DRAGOON ORTA.

Played Strike Suit Zero for one level, not a fan at all of it. However I'm not hating Crimson Dragon like most of you here. I'm finding it alright, for free that is. The only thing I've found irritating is the free fly areas, especially the end boss in the game. I've already beaten it and added a nice 825 to the old gamerscore.

Also apparently a white XO with Kinect is coming bundled with Sunset Overdrive as well. Don't know if that will be $499, but I expect it will

Madden bundle seems like a smart move for Microsoft especially with them pushing the NFL app. Tempted to finally get an XBox with that bundle...

Looks like EA Access won't be behind the paywall. You will obviously need it to play online multiplayer, but it is not required to play the service solo. That's a good move, MS.

I never thought it would be. Especially considering there really isn't a "paywall" any more. And because this is an EA program, not a MS one.

I played some Crimson Dragon last night.
It wasn't terrible, I guess, but it's not my kind of game at all. Glad it was free.
Did anyone else notice weird audio issues with that game? I found some dialogue to be whisper quiet, immediately followed by other dialogue that was booming and jarringly loud. I kept having to adjust my volume, which I've never had to do with any other game.

I actually bought Crimson Dragon when it went on sale really early on, when I was desperate for anything to justify my purchase of a One. That first dragon they give you controls terribly, and I seem to remember having more fun once I unlocked a second dragon. It's still not a great game by any stretch of the imagination, or at least, I haven't gotten good enough to really do well... the time-based incentives did prompt me to play it a bit, but that's just a carrot on a stick.

Well, I got my EA Access app code (thanks to Dan!). I tried to sign up for this thing, but it looks like they're demanding you pay with an active credit card instead of using some of my existing spacebuck balance. Is there any way around that? I don't want it as a recurring charge necessarily and I'd like to use my existing virtual funds on it.

I wasn't sure if you'd get the EA code. Glad it came through, at least
No way around the credit card thing. Because it's a "subscription," your MS currency can't be used because there's no guarantee that it'd be there on the renewal date. Same can be said for a credit card, but... that's just the way it works with this. I wasn't able to get around it, either.

If EA really want to make money off of this EA access thing, why do they make it so that you have to gain access to some magic code to be able to sign up?

Serious question?
It's still in beta. The code is MS's way of hiding the app from the App Store until it's ready for the general public.

Just a guess here, but I bet that CC# requirement might have been another reason that Sony passed on EA Access. Since the security breech, Sony has not required a CC to be on file for anything in their service (other than those who redeem a code for the free month of PS Plus service). I'm pretty sure that's an intentional thing to keep from alienating their user base. I still haven't given them any CC information since then.
They'd never admit that was one of their concerns, but it makes more common sense than their "Not a good value for our customers" excuse.
