Could someone please do the Connection Test on their PS4 and post the speeds they are getting here? I think I'm around 350/s of whatever those units were for download speed.

That Mbps will change to Kbps for slower connections.

Sony has finally added 2-step verification.
https://account.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com Click on security, then there's a link for 2-step verification that you have to click on to get the link for 2-step.

Now I'm 92.2 kbps download, 44.1 kbps upload. About 500 times slower than that.
Good thing this router is designed for gaming!
Looks like I need to call Netgear customer support again...

That's weird. I have a Netgear AC1750 that I got a few months ago and it's been fantastic and no issues.

Depends on distance to router and interference as well. Sony isn't know for using the best Wifi chipsets.
And this isn't an uncommon issue ( http://community.eu.playstation.com/...0821083/page/3 )

I get 16.2 Mbps down and 4.4 Mbps up, which is a little low. I had a lot of issues with my WiFi signal on the PS4 connecting properly that I didn't have with my XBox One. I also have a Netgear AC 1750 which has been great for everything else.

Thanks for the help, folks.
By changing the channel and turning off the n frequency on my router I've bumped the speed up to 1.4Mbps. Yay?

I finally gave up and hard-wired a LAN cable from the Router to the PS4. It's a little inelegant, but I'm getting 22 Mbps now.

You shouldn't have to go wired on a Nighthawk to get a good connection. Did you try to do a hard reset? Or maybe even consider exchanging it? Maybe something on that one is just messed up.
We got just a regular Netgear router about a year or so ago and setup was simple as could be, and we have about a dozen things connected wireless. I wouldn't think the Nighthawk would be that much different.

As a gesture of goodwill SIEA, LLC has lifted the ban on your PlayStation® Network Account.

For Rich
Post 7009
This is from a couple of weeks ago.
Post 7009
So my PSN account was compromised the other day. I (foolishly, in retrospect) had my PayPal info tied to my PSN account. Someone racked up $150 in games. When I learned of it, I called my credit card companies and PayPal to get everything sorted out, and everything was taken care of. Until Sony banned my account.
Over on Neogaf and such, there are a few recent threads where this has happened. Getting banned because your account was compromised...and all because you didn't go to Sony first. I thought I was doing the right thing in cutting off the CC numbers first, but I guess not.
Now my account is banned, and Sony refuses to work with me. They want me to tell PayPal to reverse the chargeback (which PayPal says they can't even do), or they want me to buy $150 in goddamn PSN cards, reimburse Sony, and then they'll refund me.
It's without a doubt the dumbest shit I've ever heard, and quite possibly the worst customer service I've ever encountered. I refuse to buy fucking PSN cards because my account got compromised because of a flaw in their flimsy security. Now I'm at an impasse. I won't give in, and thereby reinforce their horrible policy. But they won't budge either, seemingly. You'd think that being with PSN for almost a decade would lend me some goodwill, but now I'm ready to be done with Sony and go over to MS, since I already have a XBone.
I'm sure this has happened to numerous people....where's the outrage?

Ah, Sony being completely idiotic, not a big surprise. Thanks for the tip on the BBB, I'll pass that forward if anyone I know runs into a similar fuck up.
