Don't Starve seems to be up in the store.

I haven't been able to test it, but the message from the site is that the game is ready to play.

Also, when do new games come up on PS+? Is it a monthly thing? It's been a month since launch.

I see an item listing for it (Don't Starve), but not the game for download (It shows a 1/7/14 release date). Do you see a way to buy it? Guess we know what our free PS4 game will be for January.

They're announced monthly and released weekly amongst the three platforms (PS3, PS4, PS Vita). We haven't had a new PS4 Freebie since launch day, but we got Dyad free yesterday and Grid 2 and Borderlands 2 free the two weeks before.

I downloaded Knack's Quest for Android. I'm probably going to borrow the game from a friend soon. How much do I have to play this to get the full benefit? Can you "max out" items? I'm kind of coming in blind since I don't know much about Knack.

You can play a lot of the Knack app (the Knapp) and beat the game ones and still not have all the pieces you need for all the bonus gadgets. Basically the app will just help you complete one or two of them by the end of your first playthrough.

There's a weird PS Plus only Killzone demo up on the store, with this description:

I played a bunch of Knack's Quest endless mode and unlocked a lot of gems/items. Not enough to fully build anything but enough to where I've built all but a couple items in my first playthrough with what I've found in the core game. It definitely helps.

I played the hell out of Knack's Quest before ever touching the PS4 game...maxed out the gadget parts available through the app, and I got enough of the gems to have unlocked two alternate forms of Knack and was pretty far along on a few more. I don't remember exactly when I stopped with Knack's Quest, but I had to get somewhere around 800,000 points to unlock the next piece.

Once I started the PS4 game and got all the goodies from the app, I quickly got the the remaining pieces for a few of the gadgets. I think there's still one or two gadgets where I'm a piece short. I got a bunch of gems, but the game's pretty dumb about the way it doles them out, continuing to give me rubies way the hell after I unlocked Vampire Knack. Without the app, you'd probably have to play through story mode at least 3 times to get all the gadgets, and you still might not have all the gems you need to get all the unlockable Knack forms.

The alternate forms are pretty whatever, and you can't use them your first time through anyway. The gadgets can come in really handy, though, and I think playing through Knack's Quest so much beforehand gave me a definite edge there.

Yeah, I almost downloaded it until I read that. I wanted to check out the single player, but have zero interest in the multiplayer.

I have been looking to sell my PS3 (and games) to go toward purchase of a PS4 and may have found a buyer on CL today

Can I assume best course of action is to do a restore of the system back to factory settings to clear out any and all of my data on the system ....
risk being that if the potential buyer backs out I will not be able to restore that info

I would figure it would be too much to ask and take to long to possibly show him the system first as is and then to either have him sit and wait or come back later after I did the restore

Even if he does back out, presumably you'd want to sell it to somebody else, so you probably won't need to restore.

As a side note, I think the bank teller is going to be really impatient if you guys hook up a PS3 and boot it up while she waits.

I would tell the prospective buyer that if he agrees to buy, he needs to wait a few minutes to do the factory reset. I don't think it takes too much time. A backup in the other hand...

Has anyone used the Playstation app for iOS? I have never been able to connect to the store with it. To me, accessing the store seems to be the apps most beneficial feature, it's strange that it has never worked. The only thing you can really do with it right now is see what friends are online.

It also is supposed to act as a second screen for certain games, not sure which ones (if any) support this at the moment.

Overall, it seems kinda pointless. Am I missing something? Is it just an unfinished product?

All clicking on the store does is open your phone's browser.

Downloaded the pinball game and realized I played most of these pinball games for the 360. I don't want to buy them again.

I know that, but it doesn't work in Safari either. Does it work for anyone else? All I ever get is "Error connecting to network" when I try to log in with my PSN credentials.

That's a decent price and it looks good, but so far I've been pretty OK just keeping one out and keeping the other attached to the USB on standby. If I had more than 2 I'd get this for sure.

It works for me. I've 'bought' DC Universe, Resogun, and Contrast with it.

Just a quick questions, know it probably has been asked but don't want to search 54 pages. If I download a full game from PSN and need to leave, will it continue to download if I leave my system on standby?
