re: The PlayStation 4 / PS4 Thread: Still Going Strong

Anyone have experience with a good two controller charge pad of a certain make and model? I got one that was supper cheap...just a flat platform and no real cradle One of the plugs seems not to be charging so I need to find another.

I've had this PowerA one for almost as long as the PS4. Never had any issues. You press down the controller into the cradle to "snap/lock" it in. Press down again to release it.

Been using this one for over 4 years now with no issue. There's 2 USB adapters that you put into the port on the back of your controllers and just leave them there. Then you just drop them onto the cradle so that the adapter makes contact with the base. Super easy.

Tried out the Remote Play feature eon my Pixel 3a at work today and it was great! Played some Battlefield 4 (campaign) and Last of Us during lunch. Really good fidelity with only a couple of hiccups, nothing that lasted more than a second or two.

I that one as well and I have never had an issue with it. I'm pretty sure I got it a few weeks after the PS4 was launched, so I have gotten my money's worth out of it and more.

Same here. Bought it same day as my PS4 years ago. No issues and love it.

Anyone else having sign-in issues since late yesterday. I few friends couldn't get on and as of this morning the Down-Detector Sight still shows quite a few still having the sign-in password not right issue....

re: The PlayStation 4 / PS4 Thread: Still Going Strong

So the one time I'm trying to play games online in almost a month (the only time I have is this morning), fucking PSN is down, and I can't play anything online, no Destiny, no Borderlands, etc. What a bunch of shit. The worst thing is that they make you think it's your fault when you can't connect. Assholes!

OOh, this VR bundle on amazon is pretty good, I think? $200 and comes with 5 games. No special wand controllers though:

Does the PS4 still not have a good 1st-party remote-controller like the PS3 had?

Not first party, but officially licensed. The one I have is pretty great. I use it all the time.

the two free games for Plus users for December are...Titanfall 2 and Monster Energy Supercross.....I wonder if they still have the Horde Mode going in Titanfall, that was pretty fun to play.

I got mine last week. They sent me an email for a holiday theme last year as well. It's a nice change to look at.

Weird end-of-life-cycle accessory, I'm the King of buying useless video game peripherals (I have a Taiko drum peripheral for my PS4 and once bought a 360 Wireless Speed Wheel, but I can't for the life of me figure out who would want, let alone need, this thing.

Looks cool to me. L1/R1 might be accessed easier there than the bumper locations. I wonder how heavy it is or if it affects the balance of the DS4.

re: The PlayStation 4 / PS4 Thread: Still Going Strong

I'm cool with programmable bumpers but an oled screen just for button configuration? Do I really need my controller to have even less battery life? Unless this is to make this forward compatible with the next Playstation I just don't get it.

re: The PlayStation 4 / PS4 Thread: Still Going Strong

Didn't Microsoft come out with a controller that had a bunch of programmable buttons on the back, meant for people with handicaps? Maybe this is similar?
