Still in reality MS put out a potentially better deal than Sony did and it didn't help them at all. That Sony-Activision deal they struck really interests me because it really seemed to benefit both companies a lot.
Will be really interested to see if CoD Advanced Warfare sells better on the XO since that's what the advertising deal is for that game.

I'm not sure that it didn't help MS at all, as I imagine they did see a big uptick in sales. I just don't think anything they do will be enough to overtake Sony in sales this generation, even as early as it is. At the end of the day, Sony just has the better and more popular console on the market and got to market the game everyone wanted to play this fall.

I doubt the CoD bundle will make much of a difference next month, especially since it's not a particularly great deal.

Walmart has it listed as $449 in their ad, so I'm not sure if that's going to be the normal price, or a sale price. $449 with a game (even if it is COD) and a 1TB drive isn't too bad. If they did the same bundle with the Halo collection, I would probably bite.

Why couldn't Sony give control of the horizontal bar to the user & just let us set our "most used" number?

Doubt they venture much into "ghetto states".

This will be one of the best features ever made for a console.

I was gonna shit on that, but it actually sounds pretty cool. Well, if it works like it's supposed to, what with PSN and all...

It works fairly well, has some lag but most stuff is playable. I never saw any use for it honestly, very few games have local co-op and no online. I guess you could get a few games of Madden in or something without buying a copy. Either way, its free and better than NOT having the option.

Fighting games!

Sports games
Diablo III
Pinball Arcade/ Zen Pinball

Plus trying out indie/PSN downloadable games I otherwise couldn't would be nice. What with no more demos and such.

Silly question but do both people need to have PS+ in order to do Shareplay?

Sorry wasn't trying to be facetious Lorenzo, there are multiple ways it works.

Giving control to your buddy: Host needs PS+, player 2 does not
Playing a two player game: Host needs game, player 2 does not, both need PS+

re: The PlayStation 4 / PS4 Thread: Still Going Strong

I love that about half the comments on the PlayStation blog are complaints about the hour time limit even though the official has posted several times that there is no limit to the number of hour-long sessions you can launch, and that when one ends you can just immediately launch another. Some people are just never happy
