Oh well, probably just for display. It's still cool. Or I can use my wife's phone.

Fallout 4 Has 400+ Hours of Content

"I've played the game for probably 400 hours, and I'm still finding stuff that I haven't seen," producer says.

There was never much of a doubt that Fallout 4 would be an absolutely massive game that will surely end up taking up a lot of your time. But now, the game's lead producer has said he's played the post-apocalyptic RPG for 400 hours already and still has not seen everything it has to offer.

400+ hours of content != I've played this game for probably 400 hours and I'm still finding stuff.

I'm shocked that a media outlet would create a news story like that out of that quote though.

With some of the 'mini' games within the game, I can totally see that (Like the settlements part of the game, I can see myself losing dozens of hours into that.)

Awesome. I bet the main quest is about 10 hours. :)

Re: Fallout 4

It took me well hour 100 hours to finish Fallout 3 and all of the side quests and DLC, which is more than plenty for a full game. The only way I could see myself approaching 200+ hours with Fallout 4 is if it had an online element to it.

400 hours of crafting! Count me in.

That article was a waste of Internet bandwidth.

Amazon has the Prima Collectors Edition Guide on pre-order for $25.33. Is this worth buying? I've never pre-ordered through Amazon before. Will my card be charged at time of Pre-Order or Time of shipment?

I never really understood buying guide's these days when every thing is easily searchable online. I guess that's just me.

Not to mention, it's far easier finding specific help when googling something rather than flipping through a big strategy guide to find it. Although waiting a bit helps there to be more info about a game online.

Re: Fallout 4

I haven't purchased a guidebook since Fallout 3, but I might get this one just so I can see the maps of everything, and the crafting guide.

nickdawgy 08-17-15 08:26 PM

Re: Fallout 4

I don't really do guides anymore either, but I am making an exception with this one.

Blast! This isn't being released on 360 or PS3? Is that the norm for games now? Was planning on just borrowing one of those to play.

At least for the big "AAA" games, yes, that is now the norm.

Why? Computers are strongly preferred for this type game. There will be hundreds of mods for this game...not to mention patches.
I'm currently playing a game of FNV with a user mod... a fully voiced follower named "Willow". She is great... a really terrific mod.

Speaking of patches, has everyone forgotten the game breaking bugs in New Vegas? Why the rush to buy at release?

aktick 08-28-15 01:22 PM

Re: Fallout 4

I just rock a cheap laptop, wouldn't use a nice rig enough.

Probably will just get a Wii U and force the Fallout disc into it. I'll make it work.
