Absolutely my thoughts. Funds getting a little tighter (thanks Obamacare ), so I am thinking the same thing. Traded in Infamous at Best Buy last week for $44.80 with bonus and GCU. Bought it originally for $48 with GCU. Played through it twice on good and evil and got platinum trophy. Will pick it up again in a year or so when it drops in price.

Details of the Patch in case you wanted to know...

Sucker Punch Productions and Sony Computer Entertainment ave just made the new inFAMOUS: Second Son patch available on the PSN, so if you want to experience the new features you may want to start downloading, unless your PS4 is set up for automatic downloads of course.

The download is fairly light, weighing 270 Mb, and brings endgame time of day selection, the ability to disable the HUD, a 30 fps lock for those that might want it, and an extensive photo mode.

The patch also includes a few localization changes, an automatic pause if the controller runs out of battery and a notice in the settings that will tell you if you’re eligible for the “unstoppable” trophy granted by expert difficulty.

Re: inFAMOUS Second Son (3/21/2014)

Played a little more last night. It looks like I'm about 50% done and I just finished the second "boss" battle. I'm still having fun, but this game is best played in small chunks to me. At this pace, I should be finished by June

I also did the first paper trail, but I'm not sure if it's stuck or what because every time I try to access it back on the game, it says I need to check the evidence on the website, which I have already done. Any ideas?

Is the Infamous Paper Trail site prompting you to return to the game, like this?

People are doing some really amazing stuff with the new photo mode! There's a contest on NeoGAF with a ton of great entries and an article about it on Kotaku.

My personal favorites (and new phone wallpapers) linked for size:

Yeah, except I can't find anything on the map where to go to next. Almost like it didn't trigger the next mission.

If I remember correctly, you're supposed to get to a higher location and press 'up' to trigger the locator. It'll use static to help point you the direction you're supposed to go.

(There could very well be a technical hiccup that's preventing you from progressing, though!)

Just to clarify, it is only free on the PS4. On the PS3 it is $9.99.

I'll have to check but I swear my "Paper Trail' is all screwed up. I'm stuck at the mailbox telling me to view the pictures which I do and won't go any further. I did Parts 1 & 2 originally but when I got back on it only gave me the option of starting from scratch.

I've done the "Good" side and at the 24-28% mark on "Evil". I'll keep playing this on & off till completely done and see if they release any more DLC but I've given up on the PT part. Like Chess, probably trade this in for more funds to apply to either The Last of Us or something else in June. I've got one more level in Kilzone and I'll trade that in for more funds to apply to Wolfenstein which is already on order...and BB has $20 in credits for that one...

Finished! Now I need to clean some stuff up to get to 100%. I enjoyed it. Now I'll have to go back and play the first two games. I liked the final act leading up to the final boss fight. And that was pretty easy too, didn't even die once.

I missed that it was confirmed that the final Paper Trail installment won't get you any new powers. You do get Celia's mask and four more jackets, though.

What do you do with the jackets? Do you just put them on in one of the menus?

Re: inFAMOUS Second Son (3/21/2014)

The final paper trail is one huge tease.

I don't care about getting another power, but the mission makes it seem like that's exactly what is going to happen.

Spoiler:
The final part of Paper Trail takes place in the same location as the end of the main game. It seems like you're going to at least have a boss battle or something, but no, you get another origami bird and that's it. They did leave it open for a possible DLC down the road where you could face her, but I think it's just the devs jerking people off. You do get a cutscene at least.

Yes. It's kinda subtle where you do it. On the menu with the general info on your progress (level, contacts, etc. 'the non map screen and not the skill tree screen, the third one) there is a picture of Delsin in the center square, you can change your jacket there.

100% done on good! Now I just need to finish up the dull and broken paper trail missions. I did chuckle when I noticed that one of the jackets was named the X Bone.

Re: inFAMOUS Second Son (3/21/2014)

Finished the 'Evil" side today and it was a bit more fun than the "good" side...a lot less to worry about when shooting. You have a bit more freedom firing away and do more damage. Interesting twist on some choices which made the game worth it playing thru both ways. Really liked it and my first experience with the series.

I am disappointed I didn't get all the trophy's and two I'm sure I did but for some reason it's not showing....Rescue Ten out of the Pens and Kill Ten of the Akuran Gang Members. I know I did the pens alone on the first side. cannot go back and do so....

And I didn't finish the Paper Trail...mine stayed screwed up and wouldn't let me continue. I tried redoing it and it got stuck at the mailbox and wouldn't go no further.

I wish Sucker Punch well in the furture and whatever game they come out with I'll give it a look. They did an outstanding job on this one and what they did with Seattle is nothing short of amazing. Thanks for the good game SP

E3 2014: FETCH PLAYABLE IN INFAMOUS: SECOND SON DLC

A campaign add-on has been announced for Infamous: Second Son, and it stars Fetch, Delsin's Neon-powered companion, who is the playable protagonist.

Due out in August, Infamous: First Light will be sold standalone for those who didn't purchased the original title, though if you own the main game you'll get exclusive content.

Re: inFAMOUS Second Son (3/21/2014)

Looking back, for those who finished, what do you now recommend for the first play through, good or evil? FYI, I will also play thru it a second time on expert.

I did start as normal/good but am not very far into the game (just cleared Queen Anne except for the secret agent mission). It just seems that I am walking on eggshells in order to be careful to not accidentally kill any civilians or DUP.

Also, is the subdue option random for DUP? It doesn't appear for every DUP guy so I find myself hitting them a few times waiting for it to appear.

Re: inFAMOUS Second Son (3/21/2014)

I did both...doing "Good" the first time then "Evil". Without spoiling the fun your approach is different with both. I could best describe it as playing Stealth one way and the other Guns Blazing. With "Good" you need to be a bit more careful so I played it on normal while doing Evil on expert since you have a lot more indiscretion. With both you get the same powers but they have some differences. according to route you take.
All-in-all I had a fun time playing both and well worth it. Be sure to use the new "Photo Mode"...it's actually quite fun to mess around with and you can get some remarkable shots. Every game should have this.

go through on Good first run
second playthrough it is better to go Evil since you'll already know how to do everything and you can go fully unleashed ... also easier if you plan to go expert

Do you have to make a log in for something to do the paper trail thing? I did the first mission and didn't feel like it, now maybe I should finish that before I restart on evil.
