Re: What are you playing? (July 2013)

Let's see...

Lego Lord of the Rings (beat the story levels, 47% complete, trying (key word) to get to 100%, waiting for the inevitable glitches)

WWE 13 (off and on)
Skyrim (off and on)
Puzzle Quest: Galactrix (very off and little on)

Before the end of the month, I do want to start something new, would like to put Lego Lord and Galactrix to bed and that will open the door to something different hopefully. Maybe I'll finally get around to beating Skyrim instead of plugging in hour after hour of the Thieves Guild

Way too much. Been buying-up games I neglected over the years.

Currently:

Animal Crossing: New Leaf
Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon
Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem

And lots of othe stuff interspersed.

Re: What are you playing? (July 2013)

I have been playing Marvel Heroes exclusively over the past couple of weeks. I have put 41 hours in. I will be sticking with it for a while. I didn't like it at first, but it now has its hooks in me. It is free to play, so give it a shot. You can play the game completely for free. However you only have a handful of free heroes to choose from. If you want spider-man or deadpool you will have to pay.

Far Cry 3 --- amazing game. There's so much to do and it's become obsessive for me. I have Last of Us waiting in the wings.

Playing through The Last of Us, Injustice, Halo Anniversary, and Metro 2033. Should have all 4 finished this month.

Dropped that bitch Last of Us, ran through a mediocre Journey, now I'm having a blast with Sonic & All Stars Racing.

That's disappointing to hear. Did you try to drop it down to easy to see if the stealth sections were more manageable? Or to see if they gave you more ammo drops so you could brute force your way through it for the story?

I'm about 80% done with Last of Us, sort of put it on the back burner.

I've been playing Far Cry 3 on my PC and NSMB Wii U.

My first play through of the game was on hard, dropping down to easy (to hunt for collectables) was like a whole different game. Plenty of ammo, stealth not necessary, just run up and cap dudes.

Darksiders 2...it's a mix of Way too big maps, too much upgrading confusion, annoying battles, Tedious tasks, and glitchy software design. Kinda disappointing so far...

I did. I just don't have the patience for all stealth all the time. It's all good, I freely accept that it's mostly me and not the game, say 70/30.

Re: What are you playing? (July 2013)

I'm nearly finished with Batman: Arkham City. Well, not totally finished, but as far as I'm going to get. (I've come to terms with the fact that there are some Riddler trophies that I'm simply unable to get.)

I had a lot going on last summer so I kind of dropped Fallout 3 before finishing it and lately have been itching to pick it back up again, so that's next. It's going to take me a while to get back in the groove, I'm sure.

Finished

Surprised at how long the game was. Heard good things about multiplayer. Anyone try it out yet?

Giving Candy Crush saga a break after completing level 110. Gonna start this on my ipod next:

and on 3ds

and finally gonna start the actual expansion:

I rarely finish games, but I think I went through that one in like a week, just epically good.

Space Pirates and Zombies

Plus, I've finally cracked the seal on Fallout: New Vegas

Finally, I've been working on Legend of Dragoon for an ungodly time. I think I started it back in February or March and I'm just getting to the end of disc 2. I think I've put in abut 25-30 hours over that period.

I'd like to hear your feedback on Planetside 2. Even though it's the pc version this is one game I'm curious about since it'll be available for the PS4. A lot of the XO base is pointing to Titanfall but I see Planetside 2 as being a real sleeper of a hit for PS4 and possibly on a larger scale. The offical site is done really well.
