Based solely on the rumors and news through announcements to MS/Sony E3 press conferences, I'll get a PS4 long before I get an X1, if I get either at all.

It certainly won't be at launch as the only thing I'm truly interested in that can't be had elsewhere is Kingdom Hearts 3. Even that appears to not be exclusive to the PS4, but I can't justify the X1.

If Microsoft had made an concerted effort for BC either through software emulation or an "Xbox Mini" that used the X1 as a pass-through, then I could stomach the price difference and all the other bullshit just to keep my library growing and moving forward. As it is, they decided to sever my growth and leave it in the last generation, so I'll do the same to them.

Ha! thisclose to doing this as well. I've been a devout Xbox owner for years as my PS3 is mainly a BD player... but damn if I'm not highly disappointed with the lack of customer knowledge MS is displaying.
I have both on pre-order and I'll probably sit tight on the Xbone until I know everything there is to know between now and November.

Same here - I have two 360s and game on both, yet rarely fire up the PS3 beyond being a Blu-ray. Though my son has both Skylander games for the system and all the figures so it does get some playtime.

The main reason I went with the 360 over PS3 originally was because of the price difference and how tone-deaf Sony was last generation. Now the tables seem to be completely turned. While backwards compatibility is a non-issue for me (again, I have two 360s) the used game thing was bothersome, especially since games will still at least $60 bucks a pop.

I have both pre-ordered still, but I voted not sure. I'm leaning PS4, but I only recently bought the super slim PS3 so i'm not sure if i'm in a huge rush to buy a new console this year. Since I game on my PC too, I might wait until there's a specific exclusive I want to play (like the next Naughty Dog game).

PS4 for me. Xbone has some cool looking exclusives (Titanfall :drool:) and I imagine I'll buy one next year after the first price drop and/or hardware update.

I can't believe I'm buying the PS4 instead of the Xbox at launch. If someone had told me that six months ago, I would have laughed in their face. I love the 360. But Microsoft has done everything it can to drive me away from the Xbox One.

i voted neither right now. i haven't played a console game since early 2012. i have been playing games on my laptop. One reason is, I can get GREAT deals on PC games. There are mindboggling deals to be had on a regular basis with PC games. I get 75%+ off games all the time with Steam, Amazon Downloads, Gamefly downloads, GreenManGaming, Gamestop downloads. Geez with Humble Bundle I got Alan Wake with all DLC, American Nightmare, and other random Alan Wake stuff for a measily $1.00. I am talking $1.00 for everything. That is crazy, you can't get deals like that on console games. Not to mention all of the free 2 play games that are available to me.

My suggestion?

Everyone who wants to try and get MS to blink and improve the Xbox should cancel their preorder.

The biggest way to get a company to change is to threaten their bottom line.

Obviously this is a personal choice everyone has to make on their own.

PS4 at at launch, and an Xbox One down the road possibly after a pricedrop or two. I'm not a hardcore gamer by any means so I think the PS4 will handle what I need just fine.

Voted neither at launch. However, if I was forced to choose I would go with the PS4 even though I am/was an Xbox dude. Mainly due to the fact that the PS4 makes it so much easier to just play games which is all I want out of my game console. I don't care about watching TV, movies, music, etc.

7/10 of Amazon's Best Sellers in the video game category are PS4/Sony. PS4 is #1.

Amazon tweeted out that most of their Xbox One stock was accounted for a few hours after the press conference. I wonder how much of it they got back :lol:

Preordered a PS4 last night at Amazon, will eventually get an XBONE once it drops in price and they eventually come to their senses (hopefully). Never seen a console war won in one day before. It's pretty fascinating.
