I bought (and sold) a 360 and had an OG Xbox (after that gen), but if it makes you feel better, laugh it up. :shrug:

So I'm looking at pure launch day exclusive stuff. For the One we have Forza 5, Dead Rising 3, Ryse and Kinect Sports. For the PS4 we have Killzone Shadowfall, Knack, and Driveclub. And I know there are a bunch of games that are coming to both systems at or right around launch (Battlefield 4, COD Ghosts, AC4, NFS Rivals, ect) Is that pretty much everything or am I missing some?

That sounds about right to me...some might consider Killer Instinct to be worth a mention. I'd say the Xbone has the better currently announced launch exclusives, but neither console really has an exclusive killer app at launch. Sony has had the clear edge for in-house development over the second half of the current gen, and given the sheer number and quality of their in-house studious, I expect that to continue.

For PS4, Infamous looks like it will be very good and it'll be early 2014...same for the Order in mid-2014. We also haven't heard anything about what Naughty Dog or Quantic Dream are doing.

For Xbone, Titanfall looks phenomenal...also sometime in 2014.

Xbox One does have the better launch line-up and has my preferred versions of the big shooters.

I dunno, Capcom turning Dead Rising into a "Muddy brown generic zombie game #38" doesn't really help the X1 lineup.

Don't care about Kinect Sports, Killer Instinct or Forza. Ryse, while pretty, looks like a QTE nightmare. Is Quantum Break not a launch game? I thought Titanfall was a launch game. No?

On the flipside, Killzone looked pretty good, and while Knack didn't look like a next gen game, I'm always down for cartoony platformers. Didn't catch the part about DriveClub, so unsure on that one (but it's free anyway, right?)

But yeah, neither are all that hot.

Titanfall is a 2014 title.

Killzone looks like Killzone, more generic scifi shooting hurray :(

I don't get the QTE complaints with Ryse, but the game just doesn't look good to me. Good visuals though.

So I have never actually heard of Warframe, apaprently it's something of a "far future" sequel to Dark Sector, another game I never played. It's made by Digital Extremes (BioShock 2, Pariah, The Darkness 2).

Xbox One gets Killer Instinct as its launch Free-to-Play title, I guess Warframe will be the same for the PS4.

My biggest deal breaker regarding the X1 was the Kinect. I see no backpedaling on that front.

Lococycle will also be on 360 so it's not technically an XB1 exclusive.

Kinect Sports: Agree
Killer Instinct: Agree
Forza: Haven't cared about that genre since Gran Turismo 2
Ryse: Heard on a podcast the other than the what looked like QTE combat was actually more Arkham Asylum-like
Killzone: Looks amazing...oversaturated with shooters though
Knack: Looks like fun but not a full retail game for me
Driveclub: See Forza

Well despite yesterday's flip by MS my plans still haven't changed....pre-ordered the PS4 w/Killzone Bundle, will get BF4 thru Best Buy with Gamers Club (hopefully with some bonus). COD, Knack and Watchdogs stand a 50/50 chance of buys before end of the year.

By some accounts from those who had E3 demos of Dead Rising, what they showed on stage was not totally representative of the game. It still has the wacky/quirky elements of the series.

But even if it is just another zombie game... State of Decay is fucking BROKEN and it's still the fastest selling XBLA title ever.

Skip to the 20 minute mark, it gets really blurry but you get the idea. Bright, colorful and goofy.
