Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
I just re-arranged Stonecutter Island to move the Money Pool into Burns' backyard, though I had to move Wolfcastle's Mansion to make room for it. Still, I think the new look is much cleaner, and now I can put Satan's Anvil, the Stonecutter Table, Stone of Triumph, and the Sacred Parchment all on the island.
Let me take a few screencaps and stitch together what Burns Mansion and Stonecutter Island all look like now:

Very nice. Really like the Stonecutters compound you've built there. If I might make one suggestion though: the boardwalk benches sometimes work better as steps than traditional benches. Might want to give that a try and compare it and see which you like best (if you haven't done that already). Also really like the money pool being submerged to the right of Burns Mansion. That's a clever way to do it.

Not sure if people are slightly ahead of me somehow or if I missed an event, but I'm noticing people have KBBL Radio in their towns more and more and wonder where that came from.

It comes from Friend Points. When you visit friends and friends visit you you accumulate points and once you get enough it is unlocked. On that note, I've been slacking in the visiting friends department; will try and change that this week.

Ah, thank you. Is KBBL the Friend Points reward after Cool Lisa? I only just earned her during the Stonecutters Event so that must be my next prize.

Without logging in, I think the Capital City Goofball is after Cool Lisa and then KBBL. And the E.A.R.L. (the Lighthouse) is somewhere in there, either before or after the Goofball. You should be able to see silhouettes of the upcoming prizes.
EDIT: I was wrong. Here is the order of the Fiend Level Prizes for anyone interested (as of Level 10):

I've seen discussion of some handshakes not showing up in people's towns. Known visitors (friends, relatives, feeders) yet nothing showing up. If you are getting a drop in visitors, might not simply be post-event fatigue. Could make things a bit harder for those still accumulating Friend Points.

Mine are really down too, and I figured it was just because people were, er, tapped out. I know I slacked off for a day or two but now am back to a daily schedule of visits, and going to my whole list rather than the ones that I could maximize emblems from.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
Good morning, all. I received a new email today I would like to share with you, my friends:
I don't think anything is going to top that news today!
So, at 312 donuts in my bank, who has a Building+Character recommendation for me? Eyeballing Jasper and the Community Center... Plus... Who?
Oh, and...
Thank you for contacting Electronics Arts, my name is David and I am the Specialist assisting you with The Simpsons Tapped Out issue.
I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue with this game title, I am huge fan of the Simpsons myself and understand the frustration that this can cause when you wish to fully enjoy all the features of the game and you can't.
Also I would like to apologize for the length of time that you have had to wait for response from us.
I have reviewed your case and I have removed the Mansion of Solid Gold from your inventory and granted you the missing 250 Donuts.
Please be more careful next time
I was very happy that I was able to assist you in resolving this problem so that you are able to continue enjoying your gaming experience. Please say "Hello" to the Simpsons family from me.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
No apology needed for me. I consider a friend visit a courtesy rather than an obligation. And it's really only important during an event or if one needs the Friend Points, and those refresh so infrequently that I'd think most people can get them eventually.
I will say that the radio station is the best Friend Point prize in a long time.
I have hardly any of the premium buildings. I do like the Cracker Factory, as it has a fun character and gives Kirk a premium task.
I think I'm going to pull the trigger on the Washington Cherry Tree, though. No building, but a character and a multiplier.

George Washington's storyline is also pretty funny and he has a couple good outdoor animated tasks.
Kirk also has some great and degrading outdoor tasks, particularly one having to do with Cletus' Farm.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
It's listed on the buildings menu and not on the Fourth of July menu so I'm guessing it's permanent. I hope it is, anyway, since I have just enough cash but don't want to blow it all right at the moment.
Speaking of the Fourth of July menu, it looks like I waited too long on the Lincoln Memorial and it's gone already. Oh well, didn't look that exciting anyway.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
Now that I have my donuts back I went ahead and bought Abe Lincoln and his Cabin for 150. Quest already started off pretty funny and I can't wait for the "incognito" task, or whatever the disguise one is.
Have they ever thought about making early level quests re-playable? I regret breezing through some of those early levels and missing out on the funny.

I've always thought about opening a new account and starting all over again. Then I got lazy.
I know some of you have done that before.

Yeah, should be easy enough to create a new account and play through the lower levels.
Isn't Kirk a regular character, though? Luann comes with the premium Cracker Factory and has some good tasks.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
There's a Tapped Out wiki that has transcripts of all the quest dialogue, so if all you're looking to do is read some stuff you may have blown past on your playthrough, that's an option.
