Those were great. They're collected in "Sam & Max: Surfin' the Highway", by the way. I have the hardcover anniversary edition.

Yes, as do I. I even got mine signed by Steve Purcell.

Unlike recycling movies into endless sequels, games are far more adaptable. I was mega-happy with the Sam & Max reboot from Telltale, and I'm very curious what the result of Double Fine's kickstarter infused Broken Age will be like.

Perhaps Day of the Tentacle will find it's way out of the Disney clutches. The only true hostage under Disney will be a modern X-Wing / Tie-Fighter.

Unfortunately, I don't see them doing one of those games again. The more likely avenue is another Battlefront thing with ground troops (because FPSes rule), in which flying is just a part of it. The singleplayer would be a short warmup for the multiplayer.

Well, Disney also owns Marvel, so we might finally see the game that my friends and I joked about in high school: X-Men vs TIE Fighter.

Force Unleashed was awesome and though the sequels had some flaws it was very fun. It's very sad to read about Disney just shutting down the while company. I remember way back, playing the Star Wars trilogy games for the SNES and how faithful to the movie and how fun they were to play in comparison to other movie liscensed games.

I can trace the origins of all my subsequent gaming to the wire-frame Star Wars arcade title on our Amiga 500. The circle is now complete, as both platform and publisher have been extinguished.

I never got it for the Xbox, but I just finished reading Republic Commandos, I would love to see Ubisoft partner w/ the mouse to produce another RC using the Rainbow 6 engine/game play. I hate the CoD games because of the full out run and gun (which was all Battlefront was, but it didn't try to act like anything else) and would like to see a Battlefront and a RB6 type game in the galaxy.

^^ Wouldn't we all? There is so much potential for this franchise but they just can't seem to put their shit together to make it happen. Battlefront, if done like CoD, could break CoD sales records. Hell, Activision should license Star Wars skins and sell that for another $60 as DLC.

I actually loved Battlefront, but it gave no pretence of being anything but a big respawn race to the kill number. With Angry Birds cross over being huge, they need to let some other publishers cross over their popular games to huge success.

No thanks. That's the last thing we need. Two Assassin's Creed games a year. Don't give them any ideas.
