If not, they also have this one, nevermind that is showing a bracket for the original Kinect...

The One Kinect has a screw down design like a tripod for cameras.

There's still no word on an extension cable for the Kinect, is there? It really annoys me that I'll be buying this thing and there's literally no way to make it function correctly with my current set-up. My AV guy texted me tonight and asked me what I wanted to do about the XO and I told him just set it up without the Kinect and maybe I'll have him come back sometime in 2014 once I can find and extension cord. That's pretty ridiculous but there's no other choice for me (besides not getting the system).

So, discostu if you couldn't conceive of any reason why someone might choose a PS4 over an XO, there's one : a person with a mounted TV and an AV closet.

Another guy has an X1 early but actually hooked it up and is playing with it. Looks like the patch is live already and most features are working:

It all boils down to what the consoles can do besides gaming, and the X1 crushes the PS4 in that regard. Nobody just pops in a game and plays. Its all about online, party chatting, netflix, comparing friends profiles, downloading games/demos etc and the X1 seems to do all of that better, plus more. I guess for some that is more important.

For me it is all about the games and the games boil down to which console exclusives I am more interested than which UI is better for Netflix. And I am FAR more interested in games and series like God of War, Ratchet and Clank, Little Big Planet, Uncharted, Infamous, etc. than I am for Halo and Gears of War and even Titanfall.

Look at that 1080p/30 on both consoles. Look at how they look nearly exactly the same.

Based upon that comparison and the ones that'll come out over the next two weeks, it basically shows how lazy DICE and Infinity Ward are.

Neither for awhile. I bet we see some sort of bundle w/ Titanfall and then a LE system w/ Halo 5.

MS using a DMCA takedown request to remove video of the XBO unboxing seems like an abuse of the law, especially if he didn't show any of the game content.

Not really. The game is locked at 30 FPS, and isn't very graphically impressive. Who knows what the framerates would be if it wasn't locked to 30FPS. Apples and oranges really.

I don't know how noteworthy this is, but the Xbox One won't play 3D Blu-ray Discs with the first update, although support will apparently be coming soon.

It supports Blu-ray movies, just not 3D Blu-ray movies.

That bites, I was hoping to be able to move my PS3 out of the blu ray rotation but no 3d means I can't yet.
