More tech stuff that most of you don't care about, but Microsoft directly said Mantle isn't a part of Xbox One. That seems interesting and counter to the assumptions before.

We are very excited that with the launch of Xbox One, we can now bring the latest generation of Direct3D 11 to console. The Xbox One graphics API is “Direct3D 11.x” and the Xbox One hardware provides a superset of Direct3D 11.2 functionality. Other graphics APIs such as OpenGL and AMD’s Mantle are not available on Xbox One.
Developers creating content for the Xbox One are able to use the same programing constructs across Windows and Xbox, and benefit from all the improvements that have been introduced on Windows. With Xbox One we have also made significant enhancements to the implementation of Direct3D 11, especially in the area of runtime overhead. The result is a very streamlined, “close to metal” level of runtime performance. In conjunction with the third generation PIX performance tool for Xbox One, developers can use Direct3D 11 to unlock the full performance potential of the console.

I'm assuming/hoping we can still browse our saved files like we currently can. It would be very stupid if they removed that.

Just keep my stuff in the cloud. I don't want to guess which location my saves are in. No more carrying thumb drives around. Keep it simple stupid.

It's probably to add a Kinect mini game where you control the kinect camera to scan your room for Doritos and Mtn. Dew.

Xbox One: Project Spark Doesn't Require Gold Subscription

Project Spark will not require a Xbox Live Gold Subscription, according to the game's community manager.
Team Dakota's Mike Lescault was specifically referring to the Xbox One version of the upcoming title when he made the announcement on Reddit, though this will presumably also apply to the Xbox 360 edition.
