Re: The Ironically Thoughtless Xbox One Thread
I keep all my digital purchases on my hd so I have pretty much filled up my 250gb drive. I only keep 3 or 4 games installed.

Re: The Ironically Thoughtless Xbox One Thread
I actually pre ordered the xbox one, and some games, a little while back and last night Best Buy told me that the release date cushion changed from 12/31/2013 to 13/31/2014.
I have no idea why they are that nervous about the release date. There is little doubt that this system isn't coming out in November.
And for those wondering why I was so crazy to pay $100 more for the system, I got a $200 gift card after I bought furniture this year from Value City Furniture, in addition to some rewards for other Best Buy appliance purchases. The Kinect and head set seem nice enough, plus the servers and apps will be of my liking.
I never liked how small tbe PS controller was after being used to ones like the N64's. I couldn't care less about replacing an internal HDD. I already own an external hard drive for my Wii U (got that system for exclusives and a few games that I couldn't get since at this point it's pointless to shell out for a xbox 360 or ps4, and it plays my old Wii U sports games that I still enjoy perfectly). And the dozen times or so I've played at friends' houses and we played games, I simply liked the xbox (in any incarnation) more. Nothing against Sony fans, just never my thing.

The Xbox One supports eight wireless controllers simultaneously connected to the system, compared to four on the PlayStation 4. Microsoft's figure of eight came via new details on the Xbox One controller's product page, whereas Sony Worldwide Studios boss Shuhei Yoshida chimed in (via Twitter of course) with the corresponding number for the PS4.
It's maybe not news that will matter to most players, but it does make eight-player local Bomberman a possibility on Xbox One, and that would be grand. As to how many Xbox One games will support local eight-player in reality ... we'll see.
It's also a curious reversal of the current-gen situation. As Videogamer points out, the PS3 can support up to seven controllers at once, while the Xbox 360 goes up to four.

I can't imagine wanting to play a game with 7 other people in my house at the same time. Hell no,

A new Uno not populated by bored housewives who shake their avatars head's dismissively at you if you attempt to join their game would be nice.

I can see certain party games being fun to play with a lot of users. Double Fine's Kinect Party was fun to play with a lot of users interacting with it at once.

Alright so the 8 player thing is pointless headline grabber. And Brack likes girth.
I didn't care for the PS2/PS3 gamepads, they are small and uncomfortable, the triggers on the PS3 pad were atrocious. I'm hoping the PS4 pad fixed those things, but I'm sure it'll still be one upped by the Xbox One controller.

And nothing new, but shape names for buttons I always found to be idiotic. Brings about memories of playing Tekken:
"How do you do that move?"
"Hit triangle, triangle, square, circle."
I prefer my one syllable buttons.

Yeah, for me that's about the biggest non-issue there is.

I'm not sure why the gift card is a factor in which system to buy, surely you could've bought the PS4 instead and still used the gift card and spent $100 less overall. If you prefer the Xbox One for its other features, that's fine.
Oddly enough, the Xbox One's Kinect can recognize up to 6 people at once, so Kinect games could have more players than ones using a controller:
