For what it's worth, I do try to consolidate posts when responding to multiple people as I oppress them, but it does get hard to keep up.

I'm sure if you look back you'll find the top 10 or so posters were the ones posting during E3.

It's funny that you just don't get it. You've been called out, time and time again, yet you still feel like you are contributing here, rather than being a troll. For someone who isn't even going to own an Xbox One, it's hilarious that you are even in here to begin with. That's like me having that many posts in an iPhone thread, when it's blatantly clear I'm an Android fan.

To be fair, a lot of us have been posting in this thread since it went live in February when the first announcement was originally slated for April.

You'd think, right? I just did a search of his posts in here. I went back to June 10th, which was the day prior to E3. That starts on page 54 of this thread for me. I went through June 13th, which was the end of the show. He had exactly 19 posts. 19! That means most of his posts were either before (which doesn't appear to be the case, based on my limited search) or after that. It's fine to be a contributor to a thread, but it's an entirely other thing to continue to troll a thread with his clearly biased opinion passed off as "facts."

WTF?!? Anyone want to trade me spots? It has actually been quite a while for me though. I gave up trying and usually ignore his (mostly) anti-Xbox posts.

Believe me, I get it. I simply view the thread differently than you do. To me it's a discussion of everything about the console, good and bad. I want to know every spec and every policy, and I want to know how that's different from their competitor.

If you want an Xbox One rulez thread where it's high fives and handjobs all around, I suggest you start one. Meanwhile, I think this might be the most interesting console launch in my lifetime, and I might not be contributing the accolades you're looking for, but I am contributing an alternate point of view that is much closer to both ground truth and public perception than you'd like to think.

Again with the "you should leave our thread" stuff.

While it's not likely that I'll own an X1 at this point, it'll be a long generation, and some combination of Sony dropping the ball and/or MS doing something really interesting could change my mind. But yeah, right now they look like a mess, and it's interesting as hell.

I mentioned this before also, but others have voiced their displeasure about the console and have had negative impressions about Microsoft's actions without drawing much ire. It hardly has to do with wanting the thread to be only positive. But again, you don't seem to see it/believe it and prefer to blame those of us who are pointing it out.

As previously noted and obsessively researched by deftones, I simply post more than most. I'm certainly on the other end of the spectrum, but I don't post stuff to get attention as a troll would, and I wish folks would either respond to my points/opinions or ignore me.

Except it's not about quantity, it's about quality (or perceived lack there of). There's less interest in a discussion knowing your slant.

Bingo. It's not that those post are about fostering discussion. It's about him finding negative things with the console and posting these things so that he can continue to take shots at the system. But whatever. I'm done with this conversation. I simply shall ignore him and whatever agenda he claims to not have.

I would recommend that anyone who has an issue with chess also ignore his posts. If you feel he has a legitimate point, then discuss it. Otherwise, skip past to the next post.

I think his recommendation that there be more handjobs in the thread is a spot on.

If they are postponing preorders and giving away games to make amends, there is something to that. It may just mean that they want to flood the US market, which would be plenty sensible, or it could be that they have some issues with production as has been rumored for months from generally credible sources.

Now, about those handjobs...

So, this may be in the COD thread but I don't go there, is there anything XO exclusive to MP? I don't mean maps, DLC or something like that, that's timed exclusive. More like some modes, weapons, etc.
