Do you know how long it would take you to jerk off all the players in this beta? Because I sure as hell know how long it would take me!

Re: Bungie - Destiny

Some new info regarding th "Nightfall" and "Raids" missions....

One of the first complaints with many players was that the Fire Teams were too small. Well if three people isn’t enough for you to enjoy your experience with your friends, you can try out the Raids which have 6 player team capability. This game type only allows you to play with your friends that you personally invite, because there is no match making feature that pairs you with random players.

You’re going to need those friends and that communication, because these missions aren’t made for you to just run through. Raids are going to be missions where you might find yourself yelling at a friend to review you or stay alive because the next slip up could ruin the entire mission.

These missions are made to be extremely difficult, and without proper teamwork and co-operation, you won’t be able to reach the end according to Bungie. These missions won’t be short experiences either, as according to Bungie:

you’re going to want to buckle up and get comfortable for a couple hours

Moving onward, there is also a feature in the game called “Nightfall”. Nightfall missions are activities that pop up in varying time frames that give you rare and unique rewards that scale with your level.

According to Bungie:

Nightfall activities come in two flavors: daily and weekly. They have extremely exotic rewards.

These are geared towards players who have reached closer into the level cap, and will still be a challenge regardless of how much you’ve leveled up your stats and skills. The weekly Nightfall’s will be especially challenging, because those enemies will apparently be much harder to defeat due to tons of different modifiers that make it harder for you to get the objective done, even with friends.

Debating on keeping the pre-order for this or not... I haven't really been playing much MP lately.

Got the whole month of August unless you're getting Plants vs Zombies or Diablo III for the PS4. Just MP only or SP & co-op? Destiny to me is co-op dream....and will have plenty to do without even touching MP.

Did you think it would be more?

to me that sounds about right. You go there for the upgrades and to see if anything has opened up new after completing a few runs...so 20% sounds about right.

Some players will just hang out there as well.

I'd go there pretty much after every mission, and I did a bunch of missions multiple times, but I don't think I was there anywhere near 20% of the time. I admittedly didn't use it as a social hub or anything. I'd just get my stuff decoded, get new weapons, etc. In and out.

The tower is a good place to sit the controller down and grab a snack, hit the head, check on kiddos, etc.

I keep seeing this, but the fall looks great to me. Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, Evolve, Sunset Overdrive and Dragon Age. Did I miss some more release date bumps?

Maybe Far Cry, and maybe Dragon Age if you're into that sort of thing. The rest look like bargain bin fare that you pick up later for $20. For current gen, it's a pretty weak fall IMO.

But all signs point to Destiny being a great game that is very much worth full price.

Evolve and and Sunset Overdrive look like bargain bin fare? Really? I know we are all entitled to our own opinions, but wow.

I would not underestimate Assassins Creed Unity...a whole new engine built for it and Nex Gen, one in every four buildings you can enter, 5000 independent AI's in the streets who will react to your movement thru crowds and a huge city to explore during the French Revelution. The last two "How They Made It" trailers were simply amazing. Seattle looked fantastic with Infamous but AC:Unity....is looking amazing as well.

FWIW...me and kanjji are in for this...
