So I went and bought the Iron Banner Fusion Rifle. It's pretty good. I had to reforge it 3 times to get the one I wanted (I wanted a Void one).

I wish reforging was an option on all weapons. Then I could get a Legendary Rocket Launcher with Arc damage.

So is the pocket infinity any good? I got the bounty for it today but before I get to deep I want to find out if its worth my time. I know they nerfed it which had people up in arms there for a bit, but did that essentially ruin the weapon?

It's probably the best bounty weapon (Invective and Thorn are also decent, with some negatives). It still shoots out three bursts really quick once upgraded, and even before that it's pretty powerful with a single shot.

It also makes that bounty for 2 Fusion kills at one far easier to get.

As for me, I just reached Rank 5 in Iron Banner with my Warlock.

Hit 5 on my Warlock yesterday and stopped at 4 on my Titan today
my Suros was carving guardians up like a Thanksgiving day turkey
love the Crucible but need a major break from it

I did! It looks awesome on my Warlock, but shitty on my Hunter. Didn't try it on my Titan yet.

Just got to level 4 on my Hunter, so depending on my Glimmer I may buy the bond and the gloves. As it turns out, the XP boosts in IB for wearing the Emblem, Bond and Shader stack. From what I've seen, the boost is 30% with all 3, so I'm preparing for the next Banner. I just got 300 XP for each Banner bounty I turned in, combined with Tempered and 2 of the 3 perks (still need the Hunter cloak).

And speaking of Rank, My Hunter is now officially Level 30! C'mon Titan, have some luck in the Raid this week...

And My Hunter reaches Rank 5. Those bounties going for 300 a pop really helped. Now we'll see if the Titan can get to 4.

OK, And My Titan makes it to 4. Bought the class armor for him, then turned in the bounties, and did get another 10%. 3 IB bounties traded in for 996 rep. Not too shabby.

Ditto! Had to do some glimmer farming but got the boots, gauntlets, fusion rifle, and scout rifle. I'm happy with the default rolls for both weapons, as it turns out. Got a Jolder's Hammer along the way too.

gonna be doing a lot of the start of the Exclusion Zone in the next few days :p

how are the IB weapons? .... anything that stands out other than being able to reforge? I just don't feel I need them with what I already have in my inventory and what I use

oh and to all as I mentioned to Gooter online yesterday the destinypublicevents website is back to its former glory ..... did 3 devil walker PE's in the Divide yesterday and they were all timed out perfectly by the site (possibly better than the pre-patch accuracy)

and frequency is certainly more as I was basically able to roll 3 characters in a row to that same spot with little down time in between

Definitely more accurate.

And I find myself hanging out more on the moon now for PEs. It's just easier to move around with 3 spots that are right next to each other.

OK, I got my Titan to Level 5 in Iron Banner as well. I'm nuts.

Farmed my way back to 25000 Glimmer, will probably buy the arms and boots for Titan along with the Arms and cloak for the Hunter, and if I really feel crazy, the scout rifle. It's doable.

I might have done the same though, if I hadn't already had three 30s. I've really hit a wall and am just doing a few bounties to level up second and third copies of favorite guns (2nd Eplilogue, 2nd Ice Breaker, and 3rd VoC). Otherwise, I just have the weekly stuff to knock out.

Expansion can't come soon enough, but luckily, I have a fresh update on Warframe, which is similar but better...and free. Plus Warframe has these:

On that mission where you have to board the Fallen ship to kill one of the Fallen leaders (same location as the Winter's Run Strike), at the end there's a big throne. After killing the guy, I like to take a seat in the big throne as the mission closes out.

After doing a public event with a random person, I wave, salute or bow to the others.

Yeah great haul. I would've spent more time in IB but I was paying forward the lessons learned to complete the Weekly and nightfall Strikes and running through a couple of bounties with some OG PS3ers.
