Not yet. We had the mechanic down last week, but we had some trouble laying enough damage on him to get him to flinch. Hopefully tonight will be easier. Using the Titan on our current run, but will switch to the Warlock for the Daughters since I find it much easier/faster to get around to the relic. Also, That's who is the closest in terms of getting the ToM.

If you haven't done your 3rd run yet we will start another run tomorrow. I still have yet to run my hunter through the Raid since I'm dreading the Ships at the beginning and the Wall Dildos.

Out of curiosity, I know it's 10PM on weekdays, but what is the earliest everyone can start on a saturday or sunday night ET?

It would be nice if we could start around 8pm ET, that way we could fit in more than one run. Especially since it seems that most people aren't up for Raiding during the week.

I can be on by 8pm ET. This Saturday I might be a little later (maybe 9pm)

I mentioned TOM for the last two fights mainly because when you're in the aura, you can't die. So you just keep pumping out bullets. Warpriest and Golgoroth don't have that mechanic, so the reset crew uses snipers for the most part (Black Spindle, 1000 Yard Stare)

Oh, and I hit Rank 24 Dead Orbit with my Titan and guess what I got? REVENANT! FINALLY! Also got the new Titan mark which will make it easier to get the Exotic when I hit 25.

Depending on the class and perks (Blessing of light, Sunsinger flame shield, etc) you can still take advantage of the 'last bullet' bonus damage on the other bosses too. The bullet will chip away at your overshield instead of your health.

when you were doing this for your Hunter does the NF count as 1 strike (assuming you did it at the time you were on the quest) or more than 1
not looking forward to running 10 Heroic strikes and the time it takes

also, still need to win 5 more crucible matches .... can you run these from the legacy playlist or does it have to be from TTK playlist?

by the way, TTK has completely ruined Crucible with the addition of tying in quests
way too many people out for themselves and just a quick drop and and out to work on bounties (guilty myself at times) than actually playing the objective
maybe this will be fixed in time with people finishing the quests up but until then it is no longer a relatively enjoyable mode anymore

Is it just me or are people joining and dropping from matchmade strikes a whole lot more than they used to? Can't think of a strike I've actually finished with all three people in quite a while.

Super frustrating when I'm trying to get some of this raid gear.

yes, it is the same thing I spoke about regarding quests and such with Crucible
people are out to either complete quests and if they don't get the strike they want they bail or they are seeking exclusive strike gear and the same

if you are talking about dropping mid strike, there are also those that just aren't geared up to handle some of the strikes or want to rely on others to carry them

not sure what you meant by raid gear unless you meant strike specific gear or were referring to running strikes to level up and get good enough gear to be able to raid

I bought 10 gauntlet engrams from xur and got 6 Claws of Ahamkara and 4 Impossible Machines (which I already had). And to top that, only 2 of the 10 were 310 and useful for upgrading other gear. :mad2:

yes, they have a chance to turn into 310 but you have to be at min 300 light when decoded
you can buy engrams and hold them if need be

Well I spent a few hours collecting exotic sword materials for all 3 swords. Now I just need 500 solar ability kills with my warlock and I will be done until armsday. Solar grenades everywhere!

IB and Trails will both be accessible at daily reset on their respective day. If you want to try the IB rank glitch you gotta be on at reset.

I have a feeling that reaching Rank 5 will be far tougher this time around. Only 3 daily bounties? There used to be 6. Then there's weekly bounties, but you'd almost have to hold onto those until near the end of the week to maximize their XP.

No Nightfall buff, and we'll probably need the new class armors to get the full XP buff from the shader, emblem and class armor. The old ones were set at 30 Defense, meaning wearing one would be a serious hit.

I'll probably try the glitch with my Hunter to get the Wolf Pelt cloak.

true to above but drops "should" be more generous
also consider you have to pay with much more limited marks vs glimmer (no Exclusion Zone for marks)
regardless, I think I may be doing the same (be on at reset for the cloak)
