Dude, the proof is in the game itself. You don't have to trust me over some dude, go look at the blueprints. The Veil doesn't have a year 2. Period.

He made a mistake. He didn't mention the Nighthawk getting a Year 2 version even though it is.

So if you want to go with the Planet Destiny guy over the game itself, then go ahead. Or maybe, just maybe when making his video he got the veil and nighthawk mixed up when it came to which one got carried over.

So, this is very odd. This is my first time logging on post patch and it looks like all my weapons are max level? From what I can tell, I just need glimmer to unlock the perks. Does this sound normal?

Yes. As long as they had some xp out into them, they auto leveled.

Gave that a go tonight. Was able to crank out 8 crucible bounties in doing so. Level my Hunter up from 25 to 29 . Fun!

OK, let me know if there are any holes in this theory:

Taken King Legendary Edition is $49.99 on Amazon for prime members. You can currently lock your trade in for $34.08. Since I already have the original disc, I should just be able to use the code that comes with the new game, send it right back to Amazon after I receive it for my locked trade in, and be able to get Taken King for $15.91, correct?

Sounds like it would work. The disc itself may be the same, save for new disc art.

But, if Amazon knows the game is supposed to have a code, it's possible that if you use it, it could be considered incomplete. You'd probably have to submit it as Acceptable instead of good, since your game would be missing the code (since you used it).

Are we sure the TTK dlc is a code and not on disc?

And how much time does Amazon give you to send in the game to complete the trade?

Edit: did a return on another game to test. Has to be shipped by 9/19.

Edit 2: found unboxing vid on cag. It is a code insert for all 3 dlcs.

The weird thing is the new disc doesn't even say Taken King on it. It's the exact same disc. So I hope they don't reject it for something stupid like that.

Also, if you have BB GCU then it is slightly cheaper especially if Amazon charges tax in your state.

Did they purposely roll out easy ones this past week so people could level up quick? I have to assume after Tuesday the usual more intricate ones will be back.

Not sure if that was that plan, but I've never completed so many bounties as I have this weekend. It certainly helped get my Hunter up to 34. Of course, I don't have the armor to go with that though.

It's my understanding that these are not a one week thing. They added more bounty slots and made them easier in an effort to make them more appealing to casuals.
