It's being done by CDProjectRed, the same folks who came up with The Witcher, and it seems as if they're designing this thing to be their answer to the Mass Effect series. Who knows how far that'll go, but I'm certainly interested if they treat this thing similarly (branching story arcs, lucid writing, and solid skill-tree customization).

The trailer is slick as hell, although obviously doesn't say much of anything about the actual game. Love the setting and concept though, hope it turns out good.

I love the trailer, and the setting is awesome. I'm certainly willing to give it a go.

While the trailer shows no gameplay at all, I am excited for it simply because CD Projekt is the developer. They are 2 for 2 with both Witcher games, so if this cyberpunk game is anything like The Witcher it will be awesome.

I may be remembering incorrectly, but I recall reading the developers have at least confirmed this will be an open world RPG more similar to Skyrim than Witcher 2. Trailer is kind of meh (oh slow motion bullets! Hello 1999), but this game sounds awesome. The Blade Runner aesthetic is really looking good.

It seems that Gavin Dunne (Miracle of Sound) is submitting a track to be potentially included in the official soundtrack of the game. It's called City of Night.

I dig that song way more than the trailer for the game.

That trailer was more like watching a new TV Series that had parts of Blade Runner, Johnny Mnemonic and Ghost in the Shell.....the one scene with going out and seeing the City...that's a lot going on and the lighting with gimmick stuff.....darn impressive.

I haven't looked into this one much, but I know I'll pick it up once the game and all DLC has been released. Witcher 3 was really good, and the setting of Cyberpunk is way more interesting to me.

I feel like the modern Deus Ex already did the first person RPG, and I didn't love it, and honestly this looks like more of that.

The standard box art is fucking atrocious. There's literally nothing "cyberpunk" about this shit at all.

I might spring for that steelbook offer.

The game looks good, but I wasn't compelled by much of the 'story' in the trailer they showed yesterday. Hopefully it's... better... than that.

Surprised Keanu Reeves isn't on the box.

And it will still sell out. I remember people going apeshit for that Witcher 3 statue since it was such high quality.

Newly released in game footage with commentary...choices and paths. This game will be really deep in choices and playstyle....

Looks good, but reminds me a whole lot of the recent Deus Ex games. Not that it’s a bad thing, but on the surface it’s not as earth shatteringly unique as I’d hoped it’d be.

The release date for this is puzzling though. New consoles will likely be on the market 6-7 months after this releases. Same with the Avengers game. Why not wait? I wonder if they’ll release versions just for the new hardware.

You can almost guarantee that there will be versions for the new consoles and some will buy them again. I know I have bought my share of re-releases for their improvements.
