re: The Wii U: From "cool" Sony to evil Nintendo
Thanks guys.
Guess I will send the game back to Gamefly and try some of the other WiiU games we have later today. Thank god for that Rayman demo since he spends as much time playing it as he does all the other games combined. |

Scribblenauts hasn't froze in a few days but now the damn game is giving me media read errors when I go to the online user stores... This game is a pos lol

Since it's a rented game, I would blame the disc.

Apparently that image is blocked at work. Sounds like a pokemon version of skylanders?

Square-Enix will be showing off a previously unannounced game at PAX East, but there's rumors that it's a port of Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

This was probably already answered, but have you tried exchanging it for another disc?

re: The Wii U: From "cool" Sony to evil Nintendo
I'll have to get the pokemon game for my kids when it comes out. Sounds like something they'll love

So I take it the Pokemon game doesn't need a docking station?

...but the game hasn't been confirmed for a U.S. release yet, and if it were to find its way over to these shores, I guess Nintendo might have to come up with a different distribution method than the oversized gumball machines they're using in Japan. |

I was going to say that the blocky, stylized look seems like a mistake, but for 2 bucks? Sure. I was wondering when they were going to take advantage of all the Gashapon madness and RFID and similar technology. They've been doing it with kids toys for a while now, heck, the barcode battlers and card scanning genres have been huge for decades now. Although it they actually blind boxed them it would drive me crazy.
Bring on Super Robot Wars, banpresto! |

I haven't been paying much attention to it, but apparently Pandora's Tower was pushed back to April 16. If you're into RPG's, I strongly recommend that you pick it up before it hits Xenoblade Chronicles high prices.

Now Scribblenauts is freezing while it's loading. Guess I'll contact WB now...

re: The Wii U: From "cool" Sony to evil Nintendo
I bought Monster Hunter for the Wii. I have no idea how the hell to play that game. I guess it doesn't help that I've only invested 20 minutes into it.
