Yeah, I got a good sniper for the zero in my group. It's pretty sweet to phase lock a guy then have him snipe away.

I've played Siren up to level 8 and have died twice. I had died about 4 other times, but was able to get a kill and "revive" myself. I like her quickness, and I feel especially badass when she levitates dudes (even bosses) and shoot the shit out of them while they're helplessly levitating. I'm surprised I haven't found any SMGs yet.

Yes, I was pleasantly surprised that Maya can levitate bosses, since the ability explicitly says that it doesn't work on all enemies.

As a general note: the badass points are a nice touch for if/when you roll alts. Makes it feel like you haven't wasted time if you end up not liking a particular character.

Yeah, the Badass points are a great addition.

I think i might be doing something wrong with Zero. When i activate the decoy, my character moves slow as hell. I wanna make the decoy, run and snipe but you only get 5 seconds so i just sneak behind the enemy when the decoy is active and kill them that way. Is this the correct way to use him?

I'm guessing at this but most of your "special abilities" are not going to be all super-duper at first. It was the same in the first game. As your level increases, you'll get points to add to your skill tree as you choose. I'm sure there is something in "Zero" that by adding more points he'll move faster and last longer. But choose the way you spend your points wisely.

On the offical site here is the skill tree to "Zero"

So I've got 2 characters. Commando is fucking badass. Love him and the turret. I am also playing Gunzerker. I don't think I like him all that much. He seems slower (maybe just my perception) and shorter (I know that to be true). Also the dual wield seems great in theory, but so far, it just seems to piss off guys and make them run right at you.

Playing Siren. Did the same in the first Borderlands. Enjoying it. Have her up to level 10 and I'm doing the thing I always do where I have a hard time deciding on skill trees so I have five unused skill points just sitting there.

jesus. 5 unused skill points? you can reassign those points if you don't like your skill for a little money. seems like a waste to let your character miss out on awesome upgrades if you can't decide, since you can change it anytime.

I don't think giving up on Salvador right away because he's a bit slow is a good idea. He does have a skill...."Bus Can't Slow Down" where his movement does increase. Later on he'll be a workhorse and tank. He can take and dish out the most damage. In the bigger battles he'll be an asset. I just wonder if some are expecting a bit too much early on from their character?

Oh, I'm not giving up on him. I'm just going to use him as my solo character and occasional co-op guy. Commando is going to be my full time co-op guy that i use when I play with my buddy.
