i don't see gaming getting much better graphically. the difference between consoles and high-end pc gaming for similar titles (like arkham city) is fair but it's not groundbreaking, and the new consoles won't be any more powerful than current pcs.

i'm not sure what people are really looking for in the graphics department that isn't already there.

I would like to see what they come up with visually and gameplay wise the same way I have love and respect for Pixar and what they do to push technology.

I know there's other games but Halo 4 and Borderlands 2 will do some serious kick-booty this year. The Halo 4 demo was very impressive.

It's because it's a new system. It's something. Plus it's the HD system the Wii should have been. I guess I'm in the minority here and want new systems.

Despite a potential graphical plateau this gen, new consoles reinvigorate everyone from, the console makers, game developers and consumers. Also you're more likely to see developers take a risk on new IPs when the install base is smaller because there is a greater chance of success.

Except that's not the press conference I saw. It was about 15 minutes* of core games and about 75 minutes of bullshit features and kinect crap.

was it one dlc or all?... and BORDERLANDS 2 is gonna be fucking awesome!!! so yes it should have been on there.

E3's target audience won't fall for that, and I doubt E3's target audience is still trying to decide whether to buy a 360 or a PS3. With no exclusivity, they'd just be giving 2K games free advertising.

First DLC, and after Underworlds' underwhelming DLC, I wonder if it even matters.
