Pretty much on par with past years ever since they started with the Kinect shit. I really miss the Xbox 1 generation. They offered tons of releases and exclusives right to the very end.

I'm not going to time it out, but the looks at the core games were lengthy. Halo, Gears, Madden, COD, South Park, RE6, Tomb Raider, Splinter Cell, whatever those 3 new IPs were... that was the bulk of the show. The awfulness of Usher made that segment seem like it took forever. The Kinect stuff was still all core game enhancements, not children petting baby killer animals. There were no Kinect exclusive things this year.

And all the dashboard media updates? That's what the press conference is for... to announce new features. Live ESPN is a big deal.

I guess I don't know why everyone is so stoked to get a new Xbox? Do you not have a pile of games to play through? A new Microsoft console is going to be a nightmare in terms of all the current tech and games you have now. You know they won't do right by current owners... you know it.

I love how it's all so simple. Microsoft obviously chose to showcase all the games that will piss all of you off. Clearly, no idea what they're doing. They should have just told all those billion dollar companies that they're showcasing all their games, later conferences be damned.

Perhaps Sony bid to include Borderlands 2 in their presser. Maybe 2K wants it on the show floor instead. ie EVERYTHING IN THE WORLD ISN'T UP TO MICROSOFT

then SONY is smart.

Back in mid-May all the news said that there'll be no Respawn reveal at the show. That may have been dependent on the lawsuit, but even since that's been resolved they probably didn't have time to put together a presentation.

I want to see him run some people over in this demo of Forza.

Forza Horizon on the GT feed now... this might be the first Forza game I get on day one.

That's only next gen. When they get more graphics.

At least they settled now so they can move on and well they do have MEDAL OF HONOR this year.

I was really interested in Respawn's game because wasn't it supposed to be a futuristic game [ie their next COD game] before they left then Activision/Treyarch took that idea for BLACK OPS2...
