Being host is back to sucking for me

Umm, for that particular game I believe I was using:

-QBB LSW with Fore Grip and FMJ
-Hardline
-Scavenger
-Engineer
-Grenade x2
-Trophy System x2 (for securing flags)

But I also had picked up someones Scar at some point and finished off the game with someone Remington. I never carry a secondary since there are always guns laying around and I like to use whatever I can get my hands on, especially if I kill someone, I will hunt them down and use their own gun on them.

You know who I hate? People who get to level 55 and never prestige.

Why?

I would be willing to bet it was domination.

I had fun getting my gold camouflage for my scar-h...obviously it hurt my K/D going for the 150 kills with no perks and 150 kills with no attachments, but actually the no perks one seemed easier...



Ghost is so under powered though...especially now that UAV's don't go up as often. I spent my first unlock token on it, and I always use it because I feel like I wasted a spot if I don't...but it does not seem to help at all.

I've started using ghost if I am running a class that has the perk greed wildcard

I'm the guy shooting down UAV's and aerial support... I'm not sure Ghost does me any good.

because we play as a team, I started using emp and not my beloved black hats...nothing more satisfying than taking down 2 guardians and 2 sentry guns with one quick emp grenade...On Raid they had set up those 2 guardians and 2 sentry guns on that middle section, along with 2 or 3 bouncy and shock...one grenade took them all out and gave me a shit load of xp...

No one ever uses emp grenades on my stuff for some reason...

I got the gold camouflage on the AN-94 and I will agree, going for 150 kills with no perks was a pain in the ass.

But no attachments? Bitch, please. I went running around with the AN-94 with 6 perks (that means no secondary weapon or grenades) and I would have games where my K/D ratio would be 50-15. I've kept my class with the AN-94 and 6 perks specifically for games of Nuketown.

I also have the gold camouflage on the FHJ-18 AA, but let's be honest... that's the easier gold to get in the game.

I was a HUGE ghost whore in previous games (yes I'm a camper and damn proud of it!), but in this game I just shoot down UAVs as soon as they come in and run Hardline instead. Ghost is useless in this game imo.

50 kills away with no attachments from getting gold on my FAL...I am starting to wonder how good any perks are...with the FAL I had two games over 50 kills back to back with less than 10 deaths...no perks...

To me, I need the toughness perk for some reason. I actually ran one of the assault rifles with no perks or attachments at once to speed up the process on gold guns. I don't know if I sped it up. It really became a nightmare at time where you feel like everything is against you. I had trouble going positive a lot of the time. Going without one is fine, going without both was pretty brutal. I think it was the type 25.

Oh, also don't even bother trying to get the gold M1216 shotgun if you aren't playing hardcore. It's my last shotgun, and the only time I was getting one hit kills on normal kill confirmed was when I would sneak up behind a guy and zoom in for a headshot, and that only worked about 75% of the time.

I switched to hardcore and it was night and day. It's still not 100%, but it's a MUCH faster process.

my son runs hardcore...and watching him play it seems like that would be a good way to get a lot of weapon gold camo...

I don't play hardcore ever. I switched solely for the purpose of getting the gold camo for this gun because I have the other three shotguns finished. I also have 4 assault rifles and 2 rocket launchers completed. That's my little mini goal in this game. I want to get every gun gold. I'm a masochist who likes prestiging as soon as possible as well.

gonna try and get the diamond camo for my assault rifles, gonna be a long journey

I'm doing that as well right now, and the M27 is annoying for headshots.

I'll play hardcore once I decide to get the gold camo for the SVU sniper rifle.

ya that's the thing, don't know if i'll have the patience to use some of those guns

Got the gold camo for my UAV swatter.

finally got my gold for the FAL..that was much harder than the scar-h..I am ok not having select fire, because the FAL is a beast at range, but no scope of any kind really hurts..especially on maps like cargo where guys blend in to the background so well...

I think the FAL was the first gun I got gold. I don't really use it now because I'm all about the camo. Every now and then I will get frustrated and use either my gold Remington or FAL and beat up on annoying players, but that's it.

I will say the most annoying thing about going for the gold RPG is how barely anyone shoots down UAVs or air support in this game. More than half the time I end up having to switch my class because people won't shoot down a stealth chopper. It's very frustrating.
