I'll be getting it on Wednesday from Gamefly, and I was actually looking forward to it. Now, maybe not so much. Sounds like a bit of a mess.

I liked the breadth and results of it's character creation, but I didn't care for the actual gameplay one bit.

Yeah, think I'm passing on this one. Backlog is huge and I'm one B2G1 sale away from it getting even bigger. It's going to be fall before I have time to get to everything.

reviews all over the place...but there are a lot of near 9's out there so far...

Surprised more folks aren't into this game. I've spent all weekend knee deep in it and I love it. The sense of exploration and discovery is amazing. It feels like Skyrim, Dark Souls, and Shadow of the Colossus all rolled into one but with a really easy, fun, and customizable combat system. The Pawn stuff with friends and it acting like an offline MMO where you borrow their characters is also amazingly deep and well done. It started as a rental for me, but will most likely end up being a purchase for me at the end of this week.

My significant interest in this title took a nosedive when Capcom confirmed that it would be shipping with on-disc DLC. I'll pick it up when the price drops enough to offset that cost, which doesn't look like it'll be too far in the future.

As much as I hate that practice, I think I'd be concerned if it was on top of a limited experience game. This game isn't anywhere close to having that problem for me.

Fuck any game that has on disc DLC!

Found this for 4.99 a few months ago and loved it so much I grabbed the BBI expansion on Amazon during their cyber monday sale.

i had hoped this would have had a pc release, but no luck.
