Official thread of consumerism gone amuck! (Black Friday/Cyber Week Thread)

What do you guys think? A dedicated thread for this insane period that's grown into a 2 week credit card debt growing feast?

Here's Amazon's link to the main page for games - http://t.co/viVIzf7s

Nothing too special at the moment. I'll update this post through the week with other links you guys can drum up.

From down below:

Gamefly.com offers $12 off your order of 2 or more Used Games when you enter coupon code BFSBLK20112USED at checkout. Some of the games end up being Free after the coupon. Shipping is free for some of the games.

SEE ALL THE DETAILS HERE: http://slickdeals.net/permadeal/63026/

might as well be since some are on the insane path of buying and ranking up debt. i mean what loser cmps out in front of B.B nearly TWO WEEKS before Black Friday. Geeee...get life.

I'm already up to a few games that I really want to finish or go thru in co-op. Though I wouldn't hesitate on grabbing...

Batman: AC, Halo or Rage if they came up "special".

I have been thinking of either a good set of Headphones or a charging station for the controller. Just not sure which one.

I think WalMart is Batman...for a good price.

This thread at CAG has just about every game broken down into retailers so you can compare deals: http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/..._campaign=blog

I hope amazon matches one of the Kinect deals. Looks like Target is the best with 4 games included for $100, but I won't be making it out this year.

Red Dead Redemption GOTY edition is $29.99 (360 & PS3) today at Amazon. I still have a $15 Kmart coupon I'm holding on to, so I'm going to pick it up there instead on Thursday for the same price.

Target looks to be 135 with 2 games not 100 with 4.

I was just going by that CAG link:

Kinect + Kinect Adventures + Gunstringer/Fruit Ninja + Wipeout 2 $99.99
They say TRU will have the same bundle too.

Ah, shit. I thought you meant the whole system. You might be better off spending 135 for the whole system and selling off the 4g system for like 90 bucks. If you don't need the other 2 games, then you would be paying 50 for the kinect.

I thought about that, but don't have a slim myself and then would have to deal with either selling my own or buying the cables to make it work. Getting the games+convenience of not selling/upgrading seems like the better way to go for me right now.

They didn't list the Assassin's Creed Revelations deal, i believe BB is selling that for $34.99 (might be Walmart)

I was going to stand in line to get a TV and Batman: AC at Best Buy, but now I'm hoping to get both online. I really don't want to go out Thursday night. Amazon's Daily Deal twitter feed was asking for BF deal suggestions, so I sent one about Arkham City. Fingers crossed!

I'm also planning to go wait at Best Buy for a TV, but no media or anything else. Everyone else already matches or beats them on price or date, so just the big purchase for me.

Amazon has gone ahead and matched Best Buy for Sesame Street Kinect for $24.99.

Is this any good for adults or kids only?

Thanks for the heads up, I'll be grabbing that one for the kid.

There's a demo, it's extremely Kid Oriented...

There you go. Deleted it for both of you. Sorry it wasn't up to your standards. I will try to run everything past Michael and pinata in the future before posting.

No need to get defensive. I thought a price had changed or something between the time you posted and when I saw it.

Send it to my secretary first. I'm too busy hating all over the place to respond timely.

Good lookin' out. Tonight I had a $25 gift card at Toys R Us, so I wanted to pick this up for my daughter since TRU also had it for $25. I waited in the video game section for 10 minutes without seeing a single employee I could snag to open the glass case for me. So instead I grabbed a $25 Amazon Kindle gift card, paid for it with the TRU one, and ordered it from Amazon on my iPhone right there inside TRU.

I think one of the other Lightning Deals later today might be the Ico/Shadow of the Colossus set.
