The 3 month Gold Membership cards are part of the Lightning Deal in about 1 hour. I'm guessing they are going to be $7.99 like Best Buy. I'll try to hang around the PC to pick up a few so I don't have to make a trip to Best Buy tomorrow.

Yeah, I think I might grab a couple of those bad boys too if they are $8.

Picked up the Disneyland Adventure game on the Lightning deal for $34.99. From the trailers I've seen it looks like a nice family oriented game.

And in a sneak attack, looks like Assassin's Creed Revelations is up in 45 minutes as well.

Yeah, Amazon added some more lightning deals recently. AC, LBP 2 SE, Forza 4 etc. I'm guessing the 3 month XBL will be $7.99 to match BB.

My problem was that I could not select multiple quantities. No real point if I can't get at least a couple of cards. Oh well, I guess we will wait for the next deal.

I guess these Lightning deals are pretty stingy. They only let me order 1.

I didn't realize until too late, but yeah in the fine print page, they do mention it is restricted to one. Not much point honestly unless you are about to run out right here and now.

So...anybody have any guesses on how low Deus Ex might go?

Based on AC:Rs price I'd guess $35 is a safe bet.

I'm waitlisted. Doubt I'll get it, though.

My AC:R order from BB is backordered. No worries, still got it for $35.

I was expecting the AC:R to be on Friday according to CAG. Sorta messed up my plans. Was it just the PS3 version that was a lightning deal?

Dance Central 2 for $25? Sure.

Deus Ex at $30? Yes thank you. Alright, between Dark Souls and Deus Ex, unless Skyrim has a sale (which I highly doubt), I think I'm good with games.

Rocksmith Bundle for $50 too. They added a bunch more deals for the rest of the day: Click

That's my 12th Amazon purchase since Monday. I'm out of control.

Tried to get Driver SF as a Lightning Deal the second it went on sale. Selected 360 and was instantly wait listed. This is bullshit.

Edit : I got it off the wait list, but that was a much bigger deal than it needed to be. If you're going to offer it to so few at that price, why sell it at that price at all?

Re: Official thread of consumerism gone amuck! (Black Friday/Cyber Week Thread)

3 here (Dark Souls, Deus Ex and LORD EE Blu-Ray). Driver was $20 for about a minute and a half. I keep telling myself that one will be $20 permanently in about 3-6 months. We'll see what else happens, looks like there will be some cheapie oldies on the horizon, Assassin's Creed 2 and Call of Duty: World at War. I guess they are blowing out some stuff. Maybe I'll go watch another movie and try to stay away from this thing
