So far only two games for me. Deus Ex (PC download) $20 from Amazon and Assassin's Creed Revelations (360) $35 from Bestbuy.com, pickup at store option.

Well I got most of games I wanted to buy through Amazon. Even games I wasn't expecting to buy. I figured prices won't be this low for these games until after a year. Did they ever have the COD MW3 on one of their lightning deals? That's the only one I really want that I haven't bought. But since I got more than I wanted, that will have to wait if there's no sale on this game. Maybe Christmas deals and they'll get this to $28 as well.

I was able to get both Batman: Arkham City and Madden 12 today for $28. Those were the two I really wanted! Now I can get some sleep.

I too had the "freeze" issue earlier in the day with the 3-month XBox Live membership card...my only guess is Amazon pulled that for some reason. It totally disappeared from the offer list. Not sure what happened there.

Ha, my wife finally got around to playing Arkham Asylum about a week ago, I'll wait for City . However, I am still pondering Driver which is about half an hour away at this point. I passed on it yesterday (but probably wouldn't have gotten it based on what I saw)...but been pondering it for the last day. I dunno. Oyie.

No games from Amazon for me this year...pretty disappointed in the whole lightning deal system.

I got Arkham City from Wal-Mart for $28, and it came bundled with the GOTY version of Arkham Asylum.

Also got Uncharted 3 at Wal-Mart for $30...got them to price match Best Buy.

If you guys have smart phones you really need to get the Amazon app. I haven't missed a lightning deal yet, and I'm not chained to my PC.

Finally got Uncharted 3. So far I'm 4 for 4 on lightning deal waitlists. If you ever get waitlisted, keep checking.

Rocksmith is the only game I picked up. Most of the other games on sale I already had.

Since I couldn't get Arkham City anywhere, I only ended up with Heavy Rain: Director's Cut ... and a PS3 copy of Bioshock 2 as a gift.

Other than that one DLC mission and the move support, what does the new edition of Heavy Rain have that warrants calling it a director's cut?

Mainly some older titles for me, but with so many games to play, I didn't mind waiting for these prices:

God of War III $15
Mass Effect 2 $10
Dante's Inferno Divine Edition $10
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12 $20
Borderlands GOTY $20
COD: World at War $8

Yeah, I didn't end up getting anything from Amazon except a couple of $5 Blu-rays. Weird.

I got a cheap TV, $30 Arkham City and $8 3-month Live card from Bestbuy.com.

I got the 250gb Xbox Holiday Bundle for $199 from the Microsoft store.

That was it for me.

Classic Cyber Monday on Amazon. Doing the same game (Driver:SF) and then charging $10 more than your Black Friday price. But yet, the PS3 version is $20. WTF?

Edit: And yet, both still got waitlisted in about a minute and a half.

Re: Official thread of consumerism gone amuck! (Black Friday/Cyber Week Thread)

I got:

Skyrim (360) for $51.00 free shipping at amazon
Rise of Nightmares (360) $29.99 free shipping at amazon
Dance Central 2 (360) $29.99 free shipping at amazon

I was fixing to pull the trigger on Dark Souls for $34.99, but the wife said I had spent enough I would probably be too consumed with Skyrim anyway.

BTW Check your emails. Amazon sent me a $5 credit for screwing up something with the Lightning Deals (I presume it was the $7.99 Live card, but who knows). It's good until December 8, I think.
