Well, the link above says rumored. I just started using that site, but I've been following this one for a couple weeks and they were right on with the latest batch.

I think a lot of it stems from a foreign Skylanders catalog posted in this auction listing that someone on Gamefaqs posted at the end of last year.

I'm really liking Slam Bam. I'm not much for the up close melee characters as I prefer ranged attacks, but I'm enjoying him maybe because I can send the ice prisons out from a distance and then pummel them.

Jackpot at the new TRU of 410 & San Pedro.

Dozens of single characters (Prism Break, Bash, Voodood, and Drobot) and about 4-5 of the three-packs (Dino Rang, Hex, Zap & Bash, Voodood, Drobot).

Too bad I have them all already.

Yeah, I started out with Trigger Happy, but have transitioned to Stealth Elf(melee) just to see if she'd be any good leveled up. Just bought some kick-ass hovering blades, that attack in coordination with the melee attack, last night.

Re: Skylanders, Anyone?

Target continues to be my go-to spot, using their mobile app to check inventory. Saw a few of them near me had individual figures in stock, but I had a meeting this morning. By the time that was over, the store closest to me was out of stock, so I headed out to one a little further out that still said in-stock. Bingo. They had about 30 figures on the shelves (maybe 15 or so different ones), and 6-8 of the triple packs/pirate ship/darklight crypt. I had to laugh since I had been slowly acquiring all of these one or two at a time the last 7-10 days via Amazon, Best Buy, etc - when I could have just waited and hit the motherlode here. Anyway, grabbed a Cynder, left one for the next man.

Re: Skylanders, Anyone?

Through the zooLert links I was able to score Prism Break and Flameslinger.

All I need now is the Darklight Crypt and Ghost Roaster.

Re: Skylanders, Anyone?

zooLert is awesome. I've managed to get one of each element for my son in two days just by watching it.

Went through the list again, and apparently I'm still missing Boomer. No such luck on Zoolert in the past two days though(through Amazon).

Thanks for the tip. The app is awesome! There was a store not far from me that I rarely go to that had a ton! Three different three-packs (including Whirl Wind, Double Trouble, Drill Sergeant) and a dozen different singles!

Still need the Crypt.

there's a Boomer in front of me, want me to snag it for you?

Edit: I'm getting it. If you don't want it, I'll take it back.

Re: Skylanders, Anyone?

I scored at Target today, got there and the associate was filling the shelves. Snagged the Whirlwind/Drill Sergeant/Double Trouble triple pack, and they also had the Empire adventure set but I already had it. The singles they got though seemed to be the second wave (Hex, Dino-rang, etc...). A guy and his wife were standing there with the Empire set, and a couple of the singles and said he had found a bunch of the new singles this morning at Toys'R Us. I headed over there and grabbed Cynder they had a lot of the wave 3 new singles (Whirlwind, Drill Sergeant, Double Trouble, etc...).

So I'm caught up with the ones I want for now, unless I find a silver/gold variant somewhere.

Scored Cynder at Target. Here's everyone but VooDood (arriving tomorrow) and Boomer (might have to take you up on that offer Goldberg)

Re: Skylanders, Anyone?

Stopped by Best Buy before work this morning and managed to get Stump Smash and Prism Break. When I got home, Cynder was waiting from Amazon. Except it wasn't Cynder (which I ordered)...it was Drill Sergeant. Which I would have taken but I've got him coming in that three-pack from Amazon as well at the end of the month. Trying to see if they will exchange it but the site is being weird about the return.

Re: Skylanders, Anyone?

So... what is everyone doing for storage?

I keep forgetting to look at tackle boxes with adjustable compartments (the main method for Heroclix) but tend to think that might be the best solution. The "official" cases are more overpriced than the scalpers price for figures.

Re: Skylanders, Anyone?

So has anyone found a good area/level for power levelling/earning money? I think Pirate Seas is a good one. I play until i get to the second card round and restart the level. I went from a 6 to 10 in about 30 minutes with Stealth Elf.

I picked up Stump Smash and Prism Break at Walmart a couple of days ago. We still need a fire element.

Check the NE Target (Eruptor), or Toys'R Us (Flameslinger & Eruptor) they had a bunch yesterday afternoon.

I use the Stanley Sort Master Jr. from Wal-Mart. They sell a single for $11.97 but you can get a 3 pack for $15.97 shrink wrapped together. They are in the hardware section with the tool boxes. Here are a couple shots (not my photos)...

Re: Skylanders, Anyone?

Nice. I've been looking for one of those cases for a couple years now for all my card games. I bought one years ago(and filled it), and haven't been able to find a similar one since.

Thanks! That's exactly what I have in mind and was hoping to find. That looks to be similar to what the guys at the LCS use for Heroclix. Now I just have to remember to look for them the next time I'm in the store.

Picked up Chop Chop, Double Trouble, and Drill Sargent at TRU today. BB, Walmart, and Target were still bone dry.

Re: Skylanders, Anyone?

Has anyone played the Spyro's Universe online game? It is ok but takes forever sometimes to load from one thing to the next.

Re: Skylanders, Anyone?

Something labeled Adventure Pack Assortment was in the Gold Box on Amazon this morning for $18.99 shipping in 1-4 weeks.

It showed a pic of the Pirate Seas Adventure Pack but that has it's own listing. So I took the gamble and hoping they send either the Crypt or the Empire of Ice (that would be nice).

So now to play the waiting game.

Re: Skylanders, Anyone?

So the kids and I leveled up a few characters this weekend:

Spyro(lvl. 10): Very powerful and fast. I'd say it's a must, to max out Spyro.

Stealth Elf (lvl. 10): Proficient in her blade attacks and a complete bad ass. My favorite.

Drobot (lvl. 10): Proficient in blade gears. Doesn't do a lot of damage and is too slow. Hovering ability seems useless.

Hex (lvl. 9): Close to being proficient in Orb ability. She moves too slow and orb attack is too slow. Not impressed.

I think I'm going to tackle Dino-rang or Terrafin next. The kids don't seem to use them too often.
