Got over 400 hours of play time in GTA Online. Over 200 million GTA$ collected thanks mostly to Casino Heists.
Fun game as long as you avoid the modders and griefers.

I had a team of 3 friends that we always played together, utilizing voice chat in discord.

Never understood why people would pay real money for in-game money.... It's way to easy to grind lots of money in the game... You just have to play it.

Finally beat the game after 7 years. Endings ranged from anticlimactic to bad but at least I got a choice. Fun variety and still something of a technical marvel. Kind of wish they'd do re-releases of San Andreas and Vice City using this engine, though that would be an expensive undertaking.

I’m kind of curious since the Xbox One version looked so good.

For $9.99 I'll pick it up. I haven't played it since beating it in early 2014, so it's been long enough that I would enjoy taking it for a spin. Doubt I'll touch the online part.

Is the 9.99 for people who already own the game on PS4? Or will that be a free upgrade?

It's that price new or upgrade. And the Online game is already free and available for pre-purchase and pre-load right now (for PS Plus).

Anyone playing the PS5 version? For a game ported to a system with SSD these load times are a fucking joke. Switching characters should be instant. I counted almost ten seconds to switch. WTF Rockstar!
BTW I was talking Story mode switching Characters not jumping to online.

I'm not impressed with the port at all. At least the price was proper.

Newest update added Taxi Driving. I love it cause I just stick to non violent activities like tbe casino and tennis. I did a few pickups made some decent cash around $10k. As im picking up my next rider, some asshole shoots me dead. Like WTF what I do to deserve that? You can only pickup NPCS so it was some online person that shot me dead

I thought if you were doing non violent activiites you are immune to attacks? I know when I'm in the Casino I'm safe and Tennis.

Those are instanced though, taxi missions are out in the open city where you are free to be griefed.

Yeah, that is one way to do it without worrying about the griefers if you don't mind playing alone.
