I just wish they would give you the option to remove the other cameras when you click the pad. Just the normal 3rd and the 1st would be great.

Is this the first game that lets you switch perspective on the fly? I know Oblivion and Skyrim gave you a choice, but I don't think you could switch back and forth without going into the menu.
You know you can set it to switch automatically? Go into the settings for controls and you set the preferences. So whenever I enter a vehicle it auto switches to third perspective. No tapping the touch bar needed anymore!

Re: Grand Theft Auto 5 to a V

I like the first-person view, but I think I still prefer third-person. I'm mainly using first-person until I get the trophy for using it for 15 hours, then I'll probably switch back.

It just feels like you lose some of the personality of the game in first-person. I like watching my character strut down the street like he owns everything.

The strip clubs are nice in first-person though.

I still haven't put it in. But I'm hearing cool things about the FP mode. Looking forward to trying it. I didn't get my pre-order bonus from BB, so I need to contact them still.

Another great thing about the PS4 controller with this game is the use of the light bar - something I usually hate or ignore in most games. Here when the cops chase you, it flashes red and blue And in a darkened room it gives that eerie glow we've all experienced on a dark road when you hear sirens

Re: Grand Theft Auto 5 to a V

Also, I wish review sites would stop saying "its the same game" its NOT the same game, aside from just being much, much, nicer to look at it....the single player game is fully fleshed out. There's more dialogue and cut-scenes that flesh the 3 protags out even more. You'll know All the characters a lot better and they wont seem like cardboard cutouts.

Oh and, they did add more tv shows....so far there's more fame or shame and they added that ridiculous princess robot by bubblegum show.

Is there more Lazlow? It felt like in the PS3 version of V, his talk-show had far less material than in other GTA games.

There's more activities, tv shows, cars, radio songs, first person obviously, cut-scenes, dialogue, better collision damage (and detection for that matter) and definitely other stuff im not catching yet.....no, there are no extra missions.

The game just feels brand new when your playing...even though you know what to expect...its just way better.

Oh and.....im NOT the official spokesperson for gta v

Just started it. Had trouble loading the game, but it worked Finally. Played a couple of missions and holy crap it does feel like a new game in fps. Love driving that way too.

Re: Grand Theft Auto 5 to a V

Played the PS3 version and loved it. But I have a question about the Fed mode on next gen... Why can you only see out of half the windshield when dricing--at least in the videos I've seen?

When you're walking around the city, you can see the whole world. It seems like when you're in the car, you're confined to seeing your side mirror and just half the screen/windshield.

Does it make first person driving overly difficult?

Yep.
The first person driving is fine if you drive like you would in real life (ie. normal speeds and staying within traffic), but racing around driving crazy does not work well.

Re: Grand Theft Auto 5 to a V

There is a glitch on Xbox one with the Lifeinvader stock. You invest all your money in the stock. Then turn around and sell it.

Here is a link to the youtube on it. Sorry i coulnd't figure out how to inbed it.

Re: Grand Theft Auto 5 to a V

How is the driving in this one compared to GTA4? I thought the driving was too realistic and unforgiving in that one, so I'm hoping they went more arcadey again.

Re: Grand Theft Auto 5 to a V

You have to make sure you exit out of the LifeInvader app then go back into it and sell. If you just select Sell All right after you buy it will not work.

Re: Grand Theft Auto 5 to a V

borrowed from playstationtrophies.org

This did work for me. 2.1Billion for each of my characters in about 5 minutes each.

This is an improved and 100% working version of the stock market glitch which was focusing only on the LFI stock. The fact is this glitch works for any stock with a negative % change (red) at any time in the game, not just the LFI stock which only goes negative after the LifeInvader assassination mission.

Step by step:

1. Go to markets tab of LCN, sort by % change so the biggest red numbers are on top
2. Click the one on top, and buy as much as you can. After confirming, click markets again (don't click continue or it will reset the sorting method)
2. Back on markets tab, click the stock again
3. Click sell
4. Click sell all & confirm (don't continue)
5. Click markets tab again
6. Repeat from step 2
7. Over time, the best stock may change, but the sorting method will take care of that and always show you the best one to use on top

NOTE: You CANNOT have more than $2.1BN
NOTE: Do NOT click CONTINUE at any time

I'm not sure why it states Ready to Start as it did the same thing to me, I just waited until it was fully installed.
