Would be cool if they bring back firefighter missions and get to put out wildfires.

Seeing the same streets and buildings over and over again is a waste of space in my opinion. Looks like there will be a lot of variety in the activities and landscape in this one. I bet that the little towns will also have their differences as well.

Here's an screenshot I posted on the previous page. I think it does an excellent job of showing how the same area is now much, much bigger:

Things will also be more compact and detailed this time around. Let's be honest and say that San Fierro was a wasted opportunity and Las Venturras never lived up to the potential that I thought it would.

I did like driving around in the wilderness/backwoods area with the country music station playing - hopefully there's some of that.

It looks like there will be a lot of that and animals to kill to boot.

I was going to get this on the Xbox 360 but just read it requires an 8gb install? Fuh.

8 gig install? Yikes. How does the USB stick work?

So true. I spent a good chunk of my time playing San Andreas doing that exact same thing and I don't even like country music -- "All my exes live in Texas..."

That's what I had to do to play Defiance. It required 10 gig. I have a 16 gig "xbox certified" one and it played just fine off that. I didn't notice any gaming problems. I imagine this should be just the same.

Saw this in regards to comparison between GTA V and San Andreas

Looks like an attempt to show the size of the San Andreas map in relation to the GTAV map. It can't be accurate if that is what it is attempting to do.

Re: Grand Theft Auto 5 to a V

Yeah, that one seems inaccurate

I saw this, RS Claims bigger than RDR, SA and IV

Re: Grand Theft Auto 5 to a V

I'm glad they learned how to not force me to swap discs when I've got the entire game installed. I wish they would have learned it before LA Noire.

They clearly knew how to do it. There was plenty of interaction between assets on the discs and assets on the hard drive on the DLC cases. Microsoft just wouldn't let them.

Hmm, I think SA is way too big in this comparison. Have you guys played that game recently? Check out some of the draw distance mods for the PC version, the game world was actually pretty small, and you can easily see each corner of the map from any other. Of course it's hard to compare, since everything about the scale of these games changed with IV, but I think Liberty City by itself in that game was larger than SA, in terms of time it takes to navigate the map. RDR was definitely bigger.

They did learn how before the release of L.A. Noire:

Re: Grand Theft Auto 5 to a V

That was the most frustrating part of LA Noire on the 360, switching discs frequently... grrrr!
