I tried the 360 at 12PM and said code numbers invalid....thanks anyways
Never Mind...this is what happens when I don't wear my reading glasses and can't tell a "B from a 8" on the last set of numbers.

I was overall happy with the amount of codes I got this weekend and have enough to do what I want...use one code every time I level up Maya. I used one when she was Level 35 and have enough to use one for each level to when she hits Level 50. I'll just pass them down to the Mechromancer (Level 34) and then to Gunserker (Level 19)

I did a bit of the "dupe" stuff the first time around and frankly have mixed feelings on it. On one hand it's great to have something really cool but on the other hand "you" didn't find or get it. Besides we're talking about a game that's uppose to have a "gazillion weapons" and such so makes you wonder what else is out there.
As Vallboy said you can turn around and start farming but if you're getting everything handed to you why bother keep looking. Just a thought...

Re: Borderlands 2: "xbox360/ps3/pc" -2012
I tried doing it the legit way at first. Opened every chest. Fully explored every area. Did every side mission. And killed every boss... numerous times. After literally hundreds of hours of playing and NOT getting any orange items, I'll gladly take the handouts. Believe me, the joy is lost very quickly when you find yourself killing the same guy for 5 hours straight and he NEVER drops the weapon you're looking for.
Duping, sharing, trading... whatever you want to call it. It's part of the game. You share to make your "team" better. The fact that I didn't find it just means I wasn't as lucky as the guy that did. The loot really is totally random. It's not like you're "earning" it any more than the next guy. You're just luckier.
Those are my thoughts on the subject anyway.

I feel the opposite about that. I wouldn't want to dupe within my team because that seems wonky. From strangers, though, is really no different than a vending machine or a drop, especially if you pay or trade for it.

If you were playing with your team and you killed, say, Terramorphous, and he only dropped ONE awesome item, wouldn't you want to dupe it so everyone could have it? It doesn't seem fair that only one person should reap the reward.

Hasn't been an issue before. I understand your point, but we're different classes so much of that works itself out. For shareable items such as weapons, shields, relics, we talk about who needs what. I never use pistols, shotguns, or assault rifles so I rarely care about those.

Well I guess if you only play with the same guys it probably doesn't matter who has the best stuff since you know the strength of your group. When i play online it's mostly with randoms, so I personally like to have as many tools as possible because you never know how good your team is gonna be.

I'm down for some handouts, but right now I'd just put them in my vault for later use until I reach that point. Someone here (goldberg maybe) shared a hacked SMG in the first game that did all 4 elemental damages at once. It was badass and kept the game fun, but at the same time I rarely used anything else at that point.

Oh, Deftones, add me to your friends list, I don't think I'm on it.
Speaking of Oranges, did they just make it a lot more rare for solo-play this version, or is it multiplayer too?

Did some mod rename the Diablo III thread? All this farming talk and level boosting is making my head hurt.

I haven't seen a Orange period playing with 2 or more. I've got a total of "2 Orange" items and both were playing solo with the Mechromancer. I haven't hit a single one with Maya (level 38) who I've played about 75% co-op or Gunserker (level 19).
