Did my recruiting this afternoon. Signed a running back already. Started off appealing to the guys that had Oregon #1, then it was more fun to go after guys that I wasn't even in their top 3. Although, I didn't experience much success so not really sure the fun paid off. Then again, I've never done this recruiting thing before anyway, so what do I know?

What happens if you don't keep your promises? Along with significant playing time, conference championship, I promised dates with supermodels, BBQs at my house on non major holidays, and free pony rides. It was in the 'write in promise section'

Well, that fucking sucked. LostFan and I had a really fun, close game going late in the 3rd quarter. We lost connection to each other, so I chose to continue against the CPU. I made it into the 4th, then I somehow lost connection to EA and my only option was to quit the game. Now it shows as we never even played. That was a waste of time for both of us .

Agreed........... so you lost connection too eventually? Rough night for EA servers. My connection was lagging all night it seemed. I of course missed my extra point, but I couldn't even punt worth a like, terrible. We jumped out to the early lead and then (and here's the optimist in me) set ourselves up for a classic comeback, the kind that can really spur a season. I was turnover free, which as those of you who follow my online play closely can atest, is very good for me.

Now it comes down to the fate of the sim..........

Maybe we just weren't meant to play, Thursday night your power/internet is down, Monday, I lose connection, you try and finish the game, you lose connection. If we meet in a bowl game, we'd better plan on 5 straight days of availability to get our game in.

Definately not the beginning of the dynasty I envisioned.

Week 2 is ready to go . We will advance next Monday night.

Cruz told me Miami won last night in a PS message. Kind of surprised considering Oregon was at home and ranked #5 vs. unranked Miami. Probably just as well, you were winning when our connection issues started.
